GameSpot is showing off their driving skills with a little Need for Speed: Most Wanted - A Criterion Game!
Really amazed while using the direction they took in this lates Mechwarrior game. I could be completely wrong right here, but I feel which taking out all of the the robots as well as turning it as a racing game might distance it from its root audience... .

@midnight_17 Sure does. X and Square are pressure sensitive though so you'll have to push down hard on them (tough for me because I'm a quad). I just ordered the HKS Racing controller today so hopefully it will be easier for me.

1 Like I will buy this on day one if it finally has the rarely implemented, highly difficult to develop, advanced feature of split-screen. That would be the fun version of multi-player with my friends... instead of the faceless, muted, form with online strangers.
This game looks incredible. I absolutely loved Hot Pursuit so I'm definitely gonna pick this up.

It kind of sucks that you can't choose the colour your car changes to when you go through a repair drive-thru: red Astons are a crime in themselves. // That takedown challenge on the roof of the hangar seemed like a real ball-ache. Not very fun at all. // I like the way the game looks like. As a whole it might be a lot of fun. I'm glad to hear the cars feel more like they do in (what I'm assuming Carol meant) Hot Pursuit than Paradise. Will try to avoid paying top whack for it but I think I'm in on Most Wanted.
Well, the game looks really good, so good like the original Most Wanted. But by what I could see, it still seems that the first Most Wanted was more exciting. Some current games makes me think that simple things are more enjoyable and exciting than the ones that tries to be revolutionaries.
I may have to get this instead of Forza Horizon. I love the different environment settings on this so far.
1 Like Wait, you have to DRIVE to the individual spots where each new car is in order to use them each time? Who in their right mind thought THAT up? Utterly ridiculous. Why not have the garage like in Burnout Paradise? I am not going to drive all over just to change my vehicle. What's even the point then.....
1 Like @DarthLod They do go on to mention that you only need to have jacked the car once and from then on, whenever you wanna use that car again, you just select it from a menu of some sort and you most likely teleport to the spot where the car is located.

Still gonna buy though. Loved both Burnout Paradise and Most Wanted.Although they should be separate games, but I'm still giving it a try.
NFS Most wanted has many similar points adapted from Burnout Paradise but it is indeed better in drifting, camera view and more sport cars to drive and beat k
1 Like Meh. Too much sun blur effect which is annoying, everything seems pointless and not quite well organized, not sure, but there is a feeling of something not being there. Like a soul in a game. NFS:Hot Pursuit was really amazing and mesmerizing, this seems kinda pointless. Also, the races has no paths blocked so you can easily make a wrong turn and get frustrated again and again a la Burnout Paradise (and I hated it in burnout paradise as well so stopped doing races). This alone is enough to put me off the game.Will skip it.
Say what you want about this new Most Wanted compared to the original but it can't be denied it has its own style and it looks like much love has gone into it's creation. I'm sold on it idk about you guys.
wow that guys voice is very ear piercing. Back to the game i have no idea what this is but it surely isnt a need for speed game. What the heck to you mean you can pretty much get every car in the game just by driving up to them :s this looks like no fun but maybe driving around with you're friends and thats it.
3 Like So this is basically burnout with real cars. Disappointing. And I hate how they force the drifting on players. In Hot Pursuit, it felt like I was driving a boat.
