So, what the crap was that IE advertisement about? An eye and a flower? I'm confused, Microsoft.Great AC video though. I get lost in all the important names, and these summaries really help.
The Story So Far Part 3 of 5 - Assassin's Creed: Revelations
- Oct 24, 2012
Altair has his final confrontation with Abbas and Ezio continues the work Tarik started. To prepare for Assassin's Creed 3, we've put together major cut-scenes and gameplay from all of the previous entries in the series to catch you up with the story.
How much money is Gamespot getting for this marketing blitz? Will I ever see Gamespot again without AC advertising, videos, articles and associated fluff?
Enough already GS! You earned your pay.
Everyone agree to buy AC3 andd maybe we can get back to the rest of the video game world? Sweet lord i've never seen a site so in the bag for one game. Gamespot=MSNBC, AC3=Obama.
@vishisluv7 The next time gamespot is planning a feature like this I am sure they will check with you and get your ok first.. and once you are satisfied Gamespot will move on to something else.. would that please you my lord of gamespot and supreme emperor of the world!!
@vishisluv7 I'm glad they're doing this cause I didn't get to play AC Revelations.
@vishisluv7 calm down, man... are you even sure that this is marketing? wouldn't this make it hard for people to pick up the previous ac titles since it is showing the story? they probably had an agreement with Ubisoft for this. What do i know? I just enjoy reliving my past gaming experiences.
@vishisluv7 I was gonna watch the cutscenes on youtube anyway to catch up with the story, so this is perfect.
some or most of us like watching these, so lets not let anyone watch them because you dont want to.
@vishisluv7 marketing blitz? I actually enjoy these clips and I'm not even sold on AC3 yet. I watch them to bring back some memories, of games I've enjoyed. Some people like AC and some don't, Gamespot just relays information. There's just as much news on other games and if you're not interested, ignore AC.
Of course Gamespot will stop the AC advertising when the next big game comes out.
Marketing and all that jazz is a huge part of capitalism anyway so as a consumer, you can either buy the game or not, I'm sure if you had a financial investment in Gamespot and Ubisoft was giving you "x" amount of money to advertise their product, you would too.
how can people say it's the best franchise ever? there are much better games out there. not that this is bad but it's certainly not the best. and the story is iffy at best.
@aniforprez How can you say the franchise you think is the best is the best?
Your post equates to "Why do people have different opinions than me!? Waaah!"
And I don't even really like AC.
@JamesThePrince I do not know, James. Personally for me it is kinda more interesting to watch it than play.
