This is the first time the commander position is shown for Sins of a Dark Age.
ouch, awful animation quality, look just how the behemoth turns around, like a sculpture:) oh i miss good old 90's:)
This looks pretty bad, to be blunt. One of those games that sounds great on paper but turns out to be dull and soulless in practice. Demigod - another of Stardock's attempts to cash in on the MOBA genre - immediately springs to mind. Expect a niche following that will fade away to nothing within a few weeks.
Wait so this is a mix of warcraft and lol/dota ? And with 1 commander and rest of the players are champions ? And it's also f2p? Wow, I'll keep an eye out for this.
Hmm i like the idea.Always spoke of this idea while playing with friends in dota/HoN.Having a commander control the units/building/defense could make it fun.But right now the gameplay seems kinda slow i hope they make it faster.will keep an eye on it but not getting my hopes up yet.
wow this started to sound really cool when i realized the Hero units were actual players and there's a commander player who does the RTS base building side of it. Reminds me of Savage - which was so underrated and underplayed for its time.
This game looks fun, but I must say I was kind of hoping for a fantasy Sins of a Solar Empire with an epic campaign overworld with real time combat. Kind of like Total War except the battle takes place right there on the overworld like in SSE instead of in a separate battle mode like in TW.
let's wait for it looks interesting got tired with Total war series nothing more interesting arround yet:)
SoaSE is one of, if not the, my favourite games. Loving the concept and what I saw, not sure if I like the one resource gathering though or did I miss something? Anyway, these guys have a great history and they can expect my preorder.
wow i heard that stardock was trying their hand at the league of legends style game but wasnt expecting this going have to keep an eye on it oh and "its not going to be done till its done" this is the kind of attitude more developers need so we dont end up with rushed messy games
Game looks great big fan of Ironclad and the Sins series, hope they can pull this one off...looks tricky. This kinda looks like a game called savage by s2 games. In that there is a commander controlled by 1 person and the rest are units killing each other on the battlefield. That game is a little old now and had some flaws but is free 2 play now and i encourage people to check it out who want to see what the design challenges are for this type of game
been waiting for a game like this for ages .... reminds me of age of empires 2 .... AOE 3 kinda sucked for me
@wzkilla yeah, it's also a MOBA game... so your "hero" characters are actually player controlled.. it isn't just an RTS game.
eh... I dont see anything all that special in this... I guess its kind of a cool idea though so I'll check it out again later
