I hope this game to be similar to SR"2" not "3" ! there has always been comments made about every game , but , from the looks of this one and from the effort put forth for "REALISTIC" features it's on the up side with me , I like the car jack , but , the gun play seems somewhat ? I wish SE would pick up "Dirty Harry" and revive that too ! I will be playing Sleeping Dogs in about 7 hours ... CAN YOU DIG IIIIIIIIIIT ?
i will definitely try it for the mma combat only...keep the boring investigation dialogue
GTA V without humor, music or the entertaining story ...bad driving physics included of course.
if i can kill cops and destroy Japan then it might be fun....will try it, doubt i but it.
@jayera3000 i agree ,never even finished IV ..but Vice city and LA were entertaining at least......i forgot this games all about being an undercover cop without his dog this time.
Looks buggy. Driving mechanics look crappy most of all. The H2H in this game looks spotty and not very fluid. Its like they are trying to take the best of all action games and cram it all into one which sounds like a good idea but I think its all going to come crashing down. Its probably not going to get more then a 7.5-8.0. I'll wait for the review before I bust out $60 on it.
Oh and why does EVERYTHING have to be high lighted!? Can you turn that off? It'd make sense if it was on the first level or something but I don't want to see glowing blue dragons and blinking garages every where I go in the game
Looks great, but i got major fears of it turning out to be shit.... but not like im playing anything else... guess I can throw more money out the window, well i hope its not.
2 Like @Master_Vexov Nah.. I think it's going to be okay. With sandbox play, racing cars and/or motorcycles, have gun fights, Martial art fights, use gadgets, undercover storyline, upgrades for your main character, a city to explore.. I think one of these aspects is bound to be interesting. I, for one, can't wait! :)
Cant wait only 1 week more :) Open world High octane action with highly skilled Martial arts abilities! :) I hope GSP is the Martial arts trainer in the game!
Looks like the game is butting up against the limits of the xbox in a couple of places. That's Microsoft's fail for not future proofing the console better, so no fault there on the Dev. Two things I want to see in game, a shooting range like ME3 (good feature) and an arena fighting mode like Witcher 2 EE, good way to improve at H2H combat, if it's going to be a big part of the game seems like a necessity.
@jpnelson82 This game has dojo's around the city where you go to practice and learn new skills. Shooting range at the police station as well.
@IAMTYLERDURDEN Well, if you watch the part in the hospital, where he's planting and calibrating the bug, it makes me wonder what the alternative will be for using the left and right thumbsticks. Not everyone has or likes using a controller, after all. Me being one of them.
looks cool except for playing a narc ...i don't wanna be an undercover cop...rather just kill the whole gang.
I've watch about 3-4 videos of this game and none of them seems to have any atmosphere to them... the graphics and gameplay seems polished but the sound is off, why did they miss the opportunity to back it up with an amazing soundtrack and sound effects?
@Wizallah this game is coming out in a week. unless this is ATLEAST 2 months old we're looking at the final product here
@victorlamy Not necessarily true, most of the time these preview videos are made during the testing stage which could have been months ago.
why is the page layout out of whack on this site all the time? I get words on top of words and across the video??? Changing the a/a did nothing.
4 Like The more I watch these, the more I'm interested. Definitely looks much more interesting then GTAIV was. May give it a chance.
3 Like Hand to hand combat is something that is often overlooked in open world games so its nice to see a game portray it in such a detailed manor. Reminds me of Rise to Honor.
@PeachyCats Rise to Honor was a wicked game for fighting and your right the combat is like GTA IV the combat was better than previous games but not as good as it could be like this...
