The music was a bit cheesy... but sonic going into a werehog is pretty cool, and the intro is very beautiful... but check it in full and... Star wars anyone? Anyway, this looks like the game for sonic fans, which I am, like BlueKazoo20 said. Going to get it at christmas probably.

It's so pretty, the incredible sense of speed, the gorgeous graphics and the cheesy music, all a part of the entire experience is back with flair and more. This game is gonna own all other Sonic games before it, I'm sure.
Well, that song was kinda lame...but, when you're a Sonic fan, you get used to cheesy tunes. XP More importantly, this game is looking better and better each time I watch footage of it. This could be the one, Sonic fans!
I really hope this game turns out great. I'm not sure about the werehedgehog part of the game though. I'll probably get used to it.
I really hope this game is as good as it looks, because the last Sonic game for the PS3 and X360 was just awful.
The game looked really good until he turned into a monster. Another gimmick. :( Hopefully they can manage to make this game as good as the Sonic Adventure games for the Dreamcast. They seemed to be the only good 3D sonic games.

I've been looking forward to this for a while now, and this trailer gets me even more pumped!
At first I was skeptical about the whole Werehog thing. It just didn't seem to fit into the Sonic universe. It still feels that way, but I have to admit that I liked the Werehog's gameplay style. If they give you a whole mess of special moves and combos to use, I'm sure the combat would be solid. Also, please please PLEASE, make sure the camera works. I know that every Sonic fan can agree that Sega has yet to perfect a good camera system in a Sonic game. If this one doesn't work, I may loss faith in Sega once and for all.
Wow Sonic has returned Dreamcast style. The speed in this one is incredible, and I like how they added the time responsive button sequences to get the player in the thrill of the speed and action. The graphics are incredible also, with the fantastic scenery flying by at a 100 miles an hour, the camera does a good job keeping up with sonic at the rate of speed he was traveling but I am not too sure on the beast form of Sonic though. All in all I will most definitely get this game :) P.S. I hope they don't throw a million characters in this like the others.
They should change the US/EU title to World Adventure too, sounds a lot better and sounds like a better title to makes sequals too. Unleashed just sounds like a solo title to the series and by the looks of this game, I believe they can make more games to this series.
after buying sonic the hedgehog (2006) against all advice, and finding out first hand how bad it was, and then not being allowed a refund, I lost my faith in sega. not buying.
Another Sonic game that looks pretty much the same as every other lackluster 3D Sonic game. I miss the great 16 bit level designs... Sonic Advance came very close to recreating that old feeling.
Werewolf stages are gonna be boring, IMAO. May even spoil the game. Other than that the game looks great.

The Japanese title for the game is Sonic: World Adventure and the US \ Euro name should be Sonic: Unleashed.
Did anyone else notice that the title was Sonic: World Adventure? did they change the name or is that the Japanese title for it? Looks excellent though, first day buy for me.
I think that the werehog idea was their way of giving it an RPG flavor. It's different, but it could be fun. More importantly, though, it looks like they did an awesome job of updating the classic Sonic play. This is the first Sonic game that's caught my eye since Sonic & Knuckles.
HELL YES. I'm not so crazy about the werehog thing either BUT as long as it's not BAD, it'll be worth putting up for the fast stuff!
idk bout the whole were-hog thing. seems kind of dumb. i would've prefered the option of using knuckles for that sort of mission/level. whatever, this game looks intense. it will be the best sonic game since Sonic Adventure.

Few opinions. 1. I love the soundtracks to sonic games, catchy up-beat tunes that fit the feel really well. 2. Did... did you SERIOUSLY just ask why sonic went super sayin? My god man... It's Super sonic you ****tard 3. **** the werehog I can't even imagine who brought up that stupid idea, let alone who gave it the greenlight. 4. man they really need to get sonic off this alternative rock buzz. Soundtrack aside this looks like it might be worth getting our hopes up for. I still think the werehog thing is stupid but I'm gonna approach it with optimism and hopefully I'll be proved wrong.

That song sounds like some cheesy anime intro song. Even thought many anime intro songs are awesome.
