I know, I know, fighting games usually lack mass appeal and such
but... I mean, we gotta be more active!
All I see is people discussing their CAS characters! Or Voice Actors! Or asking questions!
Why don't we have some quality gameplay discussion that's not limited to just 8WR, instead?

I have to disagree with jukain's assessment. Sure there's the occasional e-argument, but I think that there a ton of members that more than make up for the bad eggs here on GameFAQs. (just about everyone who posts in the GameFAQs REpresent thread for example) I post here when i want to fight against people who are interested in learning and improving but don't rage when they lose. I've been here longer and I know more people here. I'm too old and stubborn to try and integrate myself into a new community. As for Sweagen's post, I'm all for more discussion. You should start a topic to get the ball rolling.

8wayrun.com = Elitists who love to hate on inexperienced players and LOVE drama. They are more or less a community of egotistical maniacs who play themselves off as helping the community. A small minority might I add, but its funny when you fight an 8wayrunner and beat them. They drop the whole "honor and chaste way of playing online!" and drop down and begin sending you rage mail. Also love when many of their members run around posting videos of them 3-0'ing A1 ranked player for the simple reason to make fun of them. Youtube video description: "Yeah, another A1 scrub gets obliterated!"
I think their online PR community belongs in the trash can, I mean if your going to troll, and be a bad guy, and make fun of people, AT LEAST don't pretend your a good guy. Wear your black hat. I choose gamefaqs and TekkenNation any day over "HateWayrun.com"
(A topic a month ago a senior member was harassing a rookie member calling him a "scrub" and "trash" because this rookie member said he lost 1-9. The senior member began cussing and saying "IT WASN'T 9-1 FOR ME, IT WAS 9-0! YOU NEVER WON!" Kicking this poor guy down even after he admitted he lost 9 matches, and these "tournament players" are supposed to be an example to us all? Lol!)

I don't go to 8wayrun too often, but there are some helpful people there. That being said, there is a lot of whiners too(not saying Gfaqs doesn't have its fair share of them). When 1.03 dropped, I saw quite a few people whining. There were some people saying Leixia is now low tier because she can't do back to back CEs anymore. Gtfo of here lol.

Unfortunately Jukain's mostly right. It's the people whining about the same things, and then the same people come in and counter their argument, and then the same other group comes in and says no it's good to whine.
