help me understand plzz

at the end konrad said you werent supposed to be here and there was a scene with walker saying "we have our orders, leave the city, radio command from outside the storm wall. they send in the cavalry, we go home." im trying figure this out with putting it with what we saw happend, the dillusions, and the many ways the end could be interpreted, and it it doesnt make any sense to me.
when we went in, the order was to check the place out, find survivors and evac them. and with the other looking back visions you can see where real things happend where you were crazy and ect. but i just dont see where this fits in. to me it suggest that the trio were part of the 33rd and they were to get out of the city, but then why would the trio follow walker back in and all be suprised when they see the crap that is going down. be suprised at what was happeing.
that cant all be in his mind. did they all go in the city, check it out then leave, just to wander back in again maybe a few hours later then finally see the crazy stuff that was going on or somthing? is this just a plot hole, or does it fit in somewhere im not seeing. thnx

It is possible that you where 33rd and lose it from the beginning when you choosed to save the CIA agent or those 2 civvies Everything goes bad after u use the WP shells on the civilians.The only thing that was real was the radioman wich was trying to help ppl in Dubai but your squad mate kills him cuz they slip into madness too because:you where shelshocked when you killed the civilians plus you had a head trauma after the crash dan you didnt wanted to belive that you killed those ppl and you blame a dead man cuz you lost it.Seeing all those bad things you began to further slip into madness and actually kill the 33rd ppl wich were helping and those that defect and started to do all those bad things.Also you kill all ppl in Dubai after you raid the 33rd guys who where guarding the water and killed them and waste all the water.All things start at the massacre of the civilians from there you create the image of Konrad to blame him for everything thus creating the illusion of him alive.As for the other 2 uys from your squad they lose it same as you wich kinda indicates that you may be 33rd but at the beginning they didnt say anything about it and Konrad tells you that you wanted to be the hero but you killed them all.But idk this game was rly messed up i didnt get it what they wanted to show or prove.
