looks good. i hope its not just another shooter with a terrible story. hope it goes like ME series where players are driven by the story instead of playing multi-player shooting. another thing.. june 30?!?! why?

This game looks interesting. They might put TOO much into the story and forget to make it fun to play.

John conrad in the The Line, it's a copy of John Connor Terminator Salvation. Dead city and people try to save it "John Conrad is a hero like john Connor. Sound familiar ? Epic Fail

The problem with a story that focus on immersion in an fps is that no one focus on a story any more. Most people are just interested in multiplayer (unfortunately) and just want to shoot people. They don't care why they are fighting. I really hope they can make an interesting LONG story to this game because I could really go for a well written, story driven shooter. There hasn't been one since MGS4.

That last scene where I assume Walker falls off the building and grabs a pole one handed. Just silly. Wouldn't be able to stck that with his hand. No one is that strong. There's only two results from that fall - you miss the catch and keep falling and die, or you dislocated your wrist/elbow/shoulder and keep falling and die. Still, as long as the weapons and shooting feel more GoW than Just Cause it could be OK.

I have a fear that even if this game is absolutely amazing, it will get brushed into nothingness because of what people have been corralled into by games like Call of Duty selling so much. I really want the shooter market to get back to innovative and massively different games rather than a straight up, dull shooter (90% of shooters we get today).

@focus0894 Just what I was thinking. Fair enough it may not be like every other shooter but the amount of developers nowadays who claim to be creating something thats "never been done before" is ridiculous. An emotional and dark story, yeah I don't think they've just come up with that idea now lol. It does look good but they shouldn't make such extreme claims. Plus people make the mistake of over-hyping a game leaving people disappointed. Often the feature they make a huge deal of in the lead up interviews end up being barely noticeable when the game is finally released.

I thought the game looked pretty decent up until the point they started claiming that what they've done in this game hasn't been seen in videogame before. In all honesty, all they've done is steal a bunch of ideas from Uncharted and Gears of War gameplay-wise and they've even stole the squad's name from Gears of War(Delta Squad), and just made the setting in city with a a lot of sand. Big woop. other than that, the game looks decent, but very gimmicky.

When it said, "resurrecting the Clancy Series"- I thought there would be tonnes of customisation options i.e. Armour, weapons, etc. They didn't talk about it, so there might be. But if they don't have that in the game then I fail to see what will make this game, apart from finishing it, replayable. That said, there could be a multi-player? Does anyone have info about MP?

this looks like another generic shooter, however i'm a big fan of Nolan North espcially as nathan drake in the UC series.

I remember this game being shown In Its early stages then nothing more until now.

looks ok, nice lighting etc, but i dont like the onscreen crosshair '' it looks large to me.
