I got my first SSX game on launch day for the PS2. I bought 5 of the launch titles and by far SSX was the best one. My buddies and I would play for hours. It never got old. I bought SSX Tricky, and SSX 3. This is one of my all time favorite series of games.

I even got the demo before I shelled out my $65 to make sure the game would be legit. It seemed pretty good.

The originals had courses that were similar to a motocross track. The new one you are pretty much going down a raw mountain. At first this seemed like a good idea to do something new, but this is what I cant stand about the game. When you fall of the mountain you have to do this stupid rewind thing that is really gay. No multiplayer is a real disappointment too.

Im really bummed. I wish they had left more of the original in the game. Kinda sad. It just seems like to me really good games are hard to come by now days. I bought an original NES recently and man those are some fun games. RC PRO AM, all the super mairos, zelda. Now that is a good time!!
