Senior Vice President of Consumer Software Christian Svensson, Game Developer Zong Hui, and Senior Community Manager Brett Elston talk Street Fighter X Mega Man.
It does a great Job in crossover. Reminded me of Nintendo era,, where there are no save point. Makes Megaman (Rockman) hard as hell to be played when I was a boy.
Reminds me of Streets of Rage Remix, which is an INCREDIBLE fan made game. I expect this Mega Man x SF fan made game to be INCREDIBLE as well.
I dont care about grahpics, maga mand was always about challenge. never played any megaman in 3d. and i really liked the X series. (until x4) but i cant like the the classics (mega man 1-4) nes jogability. Game boy jogability was great !!!
Hey guys i got a boss order video for Sfxmegaman here>
@quinnd6 This game is surprisingly not a Capcom game, but a fan base Singaporean..... amazing fans!
For Street Fighter X Mega Man, here the download links: - static.capcom.com/sfxmm/SFxMM_US.zip for North America - static.capcom.com/sfxmm/SFxMM_EU.zip for Europe - Enjoy!
I'm trying to visit the website right now but it seems everyone is there too causing alot of traffic! :(
@Shenstar75 not programmed for consoles and also sony/ms charges for all things on theyre networks dlc wise.
@Kyrylo You must not have a pc.. HA!.. its free dude go out & get urself a desktop
@Jago-Vs-Fulgore I have PC. Not gonna get it anyway. I don't need their favors. Nice score, btw.
I think the idea is AWESOME! And the fact that the dude just walked up to a booth with his laptop and showed the game he made and they ran with it, is EVEN MORE AWESOME!
>=)
Pretty unique idea. Based on it's popularity, this may spawn more Megaman games in the future.
I have a feeling that this will be the start of opening the floodgates for filling up Capcom's Inboxes with fan-made submissions for games / sequels that people have been dreaming of ............. Mega Man Legends X, Street Fighter 5, Resident Evil Vs. Devil May Cry, and lets not forget the age-old pipe dream, Street Fighter Vs. Mortal Kombat (sheesh).
Guess fan support REALLY kicks, huh? When we thought Mega Man was dead, a bunch of programmers / nostalgic gamers woke him up to fight against some Street Fighters. Bet Capcom would NEVER have an idea like this or saw this coming, they've became too narrow-minded about Mega Man over the years, ultimately leaving him in the dark...
well we all know square enix would never do anything like this, we all know what happened to chrono trigger Resurrection : /
@PS3maniac420 like how square enix never resurrected deus ex or tomb raider... oh wait a minute.
It is unnatural for Capcom to support a Megaman fan project like that and more so distributing it for free on their website.
We are talking about the company that started on disc "DLC" and charged people money for Street Fighter costumes that were locked on their disc!
I am starting to think this could be a sign the pending apocalypse of 21/12/12 is really going to happen...
The Mayans were right.
@SoreThumbsBill You have to remember that a big company doesn't just have one personality. They're made up of many different divisions and the decisions made by one may not go down well with another, but they'd still follow through if it's an order from higher up. I'm guessing, in this case, the ones that set up the whole DLC mess didn't get a say in the matter.
wow this looks cool and its PC only! LOL
Glad to know it is a Fan made game, If this game is made by Crapcom, Crapcom will be like this:
"Download this game for FREE! and Unlock Ken DLC for 60$ only Yey! But wait there's more! if you pay for Ken DLC just add another 10$ for Dan Hibiki! Hoohh Aaahhh Crapcom!
oops i just realize that christian svensson works for Crapcom... whew i feel bad. BUT STILL awesome!
looks pretty cool but i feel like Capcoms being lazy about mega man.... there hasn't been a 3d installment in forever and everybody knows these NES age graphic games are way easier to develope....don't get me wrong I love retro and I love classic megaman.... I just think their being somewhat half cheeked and making whats fastest for them

This game isn't even developed by Capcom and I feel they're making a huge fuss out of it. Free publicity I guess.
I'm looking forward to this game-huge megaman fan, not a Street Fighter fan at all. I'm very interested in the amalgamation of the two. I like cross-overs if nothing else just to see what designers will do with the new universe to play in. This was made by a fan-and by the looks of it, he has a passion for both franchises and wanted to do something cool for us; the rest of the fans. Looks like he did a damn good job too. The alternative is Capcom could've made the game, with the exact same graphics, copied and pasted the robot masters onto some street fighter sprites and charged $60 for it, plus DLC. This is free and thanks to the fan who made it and capcom for releasing it.
@adamrich81 If Capcom had developed the game, it wouldn't be that cool and, of course, not free. Capcom is so lost that they coudn't even think about a mash-up like this! Only fans seem to know what fans want.
@GamerOuTLaWz Believe, Capcom could do that and there would be people to pay for it, because they know they would be "cashing on nostalgia" and could spend anything to relive it.
I was being Facetious- Referring to the practice of marketing names and brands rather than actual gameplay. Megaman+Street Fighter= $$. Thats all
