So now that this greatness has been released, whats going to happen when Tekken x Street fighter releases. (Will the PC gamers get shafted, remains to be seen)
@DjTIEST0 To integrate Tekken characters into DoA would change how they play, including giving them a full array of counter holds. It might be hard for most Tekken fans to enjoy. It'd be heresy to try to integrate DoA characters into a different game.DoA's the perfect fighter. Perfect.
This looks cool, the graphics appear to be slightly toned down and more amalgamated with the original console texture. I look forward to playing.
Interesting gem technique
if it had seth & c.viper (in one group) better facial graphic and better technical graphic (not artistic) and more arenas (10 is low!!!!) it was best fighting game for pc
Can't they just make a crossover game of like 5 or 6 of the major fighting franchises? Tekken, Xmen, Marvel, KOF, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Smash bros? That'd be insanity!!
@drivemuse I'd like to see you try and balance a game like that.
@blacksaibot Me too! But don't deny it would be a sweet@ss concept! Maybe not with Smash Bros in it, but nearly all the other franchises I mentioned would be able to be combined. Considering half of them have already been in crossover games together anyway, it wouldn't be an impossible feat. The hardest part would be getting all the individual IP owners to agree to make it and collaborate together, the balancing aspect would be a piece of cake in comparison to getting everyone to say "Yes!" to it.
it's seems most reviewers have come at this from a SF background because elsewhere i've seen a reviewer mention the cinematics which have been in arcade mode in tekken for a long time. and they don't exactly talk about how the tekken gameplay has translated to the SF style. i would have thought that was quite important to mention.

I'm not a fighter fan myself but it's always great to see quality console games released on PC.
