Street Fighter X Tekken Video Review

I was hoping to see Nina in this video..

I just don't like the graphical style of these new Street Fighter games...

So basically they made the Tekken characters Street Fighter characters.

i think namco must respect pc gamers and release tekken x street fighter for pc (for god's sake)

if company does'nt do such thing it might be because of their idea about selling predictions when it comes to pc 

and i pesonally think they are afraid that their game won't be as good as sf iv oe sfxtk 

anybody have idea share it with me about releasing this game on pc or better

For everybody complaingw about having more SF mechanic then tekken, dont forget that Tekken or Street Fighter is coming!

Fun game. Like any fighting game, you just have to practice the mechanics and really learn to maximize your team synergy in order to damage the opponent.

I own way too many fighting games for someone who is terrible at them. Which is a shame because this one looks like it caters for someone of my skill level, but I don't know if should invest in yet another fighting game (especially because it's capcom)?!

I'm still going to get the game, I love both franchise in their respective areas, but the Tekken characters didn't transition well into 2D, wonder what will Namco do in Tekken X Street Fighter.

Tekken lost sooo much more of it's element than SF did in the transition! I guess that just means it had a lot more element than SF to begin with obviosly! And it had to be downgraded for it to be compatible!

who the hell cares about online??? Online is good for First Person shooters but not for fighting games like Tekken.

i had high hopes for this game, too bad it's 99% street fighter and 1% tekken ... i might get the pc version ... in a steam bargain ... if it comes with the first day dlc characters included ... meanwhile soulcalibur, virtua fighter and dead or alive V can keep me warm until tekken 7 arrives

Looks fun but I really, really hate that on 2 vs. 2 you lose if one fighter dies. This means no epic comebacks.

I want this game, but the "D"LC fiasco has really turned me off. I can't in good conscience reward Capcom's underhanded deceit. I'll wait and see if they do right by fans first.

I've cancelled my PS3 order in favour of waiting for the Vita version, I'm not paying sixteen quid for on disc content.

@reyace Only buy it if you like Srteet fighter characters, they are OP compared to Tekken characters, especially Ken and Ryu. Me being a Tekken fan am not pleased and will return this game as soon as possible.

Please dont buy this game. I bitterly regret it. This game is only fun is you play offline but still it has no balance at all whatsoever. Many street fighter characters can easily spam moves (hadoukens) or other moves. The block in the game is the absolute worst I have ever seen. Many lag issues too. If you dont believe me just try the online "Ranked Matches" and you will soon find out. I had so much hype for this game and I am so sad it turned out to be so imbalanced. :(

Everytime this reviewer says gems, it sounds like he is saying gyms. When he first said it I thought there was going to be a Gym mode in the game. Its disappointing there isn't.

PS3 version: It is possible to mix and match online and offline players for scramble battles and pair play battles. Two local players can play on the same PS3 using 1 PSN ID, and play against other players online. 360 version: It is NOT possible to mix and match online and offline players for scramble battles and pair play battles. So you either have to have all players be offline and local (so 4 players, 1 xbox) or have all the players be online (4 players, 4 xboxs). The reason for this difference is because of the architecture differences between gamertags and PSN IDs. I?m not sure of the technical details, but basically it amounts to: Sony made it so you can mix and match online and offline, and Microsoft made it so you can?t.? But then how is this possible for Mortal Kombat? I like to see crapcom fans defend them now, and having people youtube account banned. LMAO....

CAPCOM !!! Why do this to all Street Fighter lovers again ??? I mean to all ur fans.... we dont deserve this Capcom !!!! All the charaters are already on the discs and WE NEED 2 PAY for them AGAIN to play these chaacters ! It happened earlier and we just forgave U but its happening again. If u need more money then PLZ increase the MRP . If the content is on disc then why would u charge again.... stating its a god damn DLC - downloadable content ! AND the XBOX version does not allows CO-OP play even though its mentioned in the freaking XBOX manual . CAPCOM has no update of patching this even in future ! Capcom said that its because of the architecture difference in Xbox Game tags and PSN IDs. I mean WTFFFF ! Its really sad and U Capcom has lost my TRUST and RESPECT. I recently found that CAPCOM has caused you-tube accounts to be BANNED 'coz they proptested against the former's practises.... I hope you guys work on it. To me, the art-style & gameplay isn't as smooth as SSF4. I'm assumin' there's a bunch of patches on the way. Personally it seems rushed. But it is what it is.

did you guys know that the xbox 360 version doesn't allow 2 players who are on the same xbox to play online match together. Thats right there is no online couch co-op in this game (eventhought it was advertised to have it) and no one was notifed untill after the release date. again this is for the XBOX version only. Yes i had to adjust to the cross canceling gameplay, i was too use to one on one combat. it is suprising how switching back and forth is effective.

@Darthbawls You obviously didn't give Virtua Fighter a chance. They are phenomenal. It is the delicious cake.

I'll wait for Streetfighter XTreme Tekken that comes out in November. But hey maybe Capcom will listen to the whiners who cried about all the new versions of their originally released games and release everything as DLC. Hey look at it this way Capcom stands to make more money that way.

I prefer the realism of Tekken's 3D world, but I am impressed with the gameplay of Street Fighter x Tekken.

Seams boring... another fighting game combinating two different franchises in 2D...
