Hmm i didnt like the way the man kept rushing the girl. Before the girl had even finished showing us something, the man rudely butts in with his thing, jerk. He should be more patient.

Jane and Guy dig into the TERA Collector's Edition to see what secrets lie within.
I'm really shocked by how much I'm liking this game. I went into it blind and I gotta say I'm surprised by how good it really is.
Why are so many people hating on this game? Especially when 9/10 of those are "oh I saw pictures and it's ghey" or "I played the beta and it didn't have this," when pretty much everything people complained about it not having were implemented in the retail...a beta is just that. A beta. Not a release.
I'm playing Tera and I love it. Can't wait till I reach the end game content, or a few months from now when more content has been released! And it'll just get better from here...just wish I had more time to play!
very nice collector's edition... if it wasn't for the fact that I don't like MMO I would definetely buy it! :)
While the game looks great, and has some really cool unique features, the game will fail (in my opinion) for a few reasons.
1. Questing- Have you quested in this game? It gets no worse then it is in this game. Just absolutely boring and dull.
2. Korean games are quite notorious for lack of patches or the slowest patch process ever.
3. No PvP battlegrounds... Really?
I say keep your eyes on Phantasy Star Online 2!
Free to play- YES
Free to buy- YES
Micro-transactions- Sadly, yes. (Sega has to make money somehow)
Cross platform support for PC and PS Vita- YES!!!!
Most in depth character creator to date? In my opinion yes.
PSO2 will breath new life into a classic game.
@MamaLukuBuku I actually like the idea of an MMO not having battlegrounds. They've all been doing it for a while now and all it does is empty the game of real open-world PvP.
When WoW implemented them, the game suddenly became much more boring. The current looking-for-group system was the final nail in that particular coffin (for me, at least.)
@MamaLukuBuku I just started playing Tera Online today.. I am having a good time so far.. It looks great, it runs great, combat is fun..
When it comes to questing I am also just fine with it. Click dude, get quest, get marker, run to marker, kill stuff, deliver quest, get rewards and exp.. I can dig that.
Only drawback so far is the 10 year old girls (some playable race) running around.. that's really strange and silly to me for some reason..
Idk. maybe I don't watch enough hentai/anime/manga or whatever to appreciate that.
I am still in its early beginnings and I am sure that there is a lot more to Tera than I have experienced so far but I still don't see myself playing it for a year or so. I reckon a few months at best...
It's still a good game, and money well spent.. :)
@MamaLukuBuku there are battlegrounds. agree on the rest of the points.
Korean lineage knockoff grindfest so if that is your sort of thing, YEAH!
Its' really no better or innovative then any other MMORPG.
@megakick the game sure is linear, but calling it a grindfest is a very far stretch.
@megakick Except that it's nothing like Lineage and has plenty of quests to keep you going, complete with in-game cutscenes if that's your thing and dungeons. A grindfest is a questless game where you're smacking the same monsters in the same spot repeatedly for hours on end with no direction and it takes months if not years to hit the level cap. None of that applies to TERA.
The combat is fairly different than other MMOs, at least for some classes. Classes like the Warrior and the Slayer have a combo system where certain abilities can be chained with other ones, untargeted, and the Warrior and Slayer can dodge out of the way of incoming attacks much like any action game like Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry. Caster classes are a little more traditional but you still have to actually aim at monsters to hit them.
This game will fail because people like you can't look past the fact that it's a foreign game and will damn it just for that reason. Again after 7 years of WoW I'm enjoying this game quite a bit, and despite it being Korean it's a surprisingly rock solid game so far.
I've played WoW for 7 years and I've certainly been enjoying my time with TERA. I don't know how long it's going to last but it's been a fun ride so far.

I played Tera in the beta, and found it an alright game. But found issues with it shortly after (No LFG system, mob tagging system, etc). I found out after the game went live they had introduced a LFG system. I didn't rush out to buy Tera (still don't own a copy). This was only because of how En Masse did their beta testing (It was a HORRIBLE testing, since information was scares and they kept reseting peoples toons) which put me off playing the game in retail. My close friend has been telling me it's better in retail over beta, but it's a choice out of Tera or D3 (don't really want to get both, but may consider it).
hard to find if you lived in the EU,not so hard here in the states..not many peolpe really brought tera
plus the box art for Tera for the states looks much better then the EU's,mmm
was kinda fun in the beta but i passed on this mmo
@wraigth wow it really is only £40 on play.com.......... so tempted.
Ordered my collectors edition from play.com for £40, as it costs more for the digital version I was quite pleased with that.
