Stack fortification spells? I'm now happily the Arch-Mage of the mages guild and have been experimenting with spell making, I want to create a spell that will fortify my intelligence to raise my mana so I can cast some spells I don't have enough for, my question is this.......if I create fortify 20 points for 10 seconds and cast repeatedly, will that 20 points stack up?

I'm pretty sure the spell will just overwrite itself. You'll need to create multiple spells with the same effect. Or you could do the constant effect glitch. Use the search function if you want to know more.

Yeah you need multiple spells, can't just use the same one over and over.

    what masamune said

you can create identical spells IIRC but you'll have to name them differently...or you could create multiple spells with slightly different values

there is also a method known as spell chaining IIRC but i have never tried it - check UESP

you want to fortify magicka rather than intelligence

your actual best bet is to enchant with transcendent sigil stones

you shouldn't need to use CE but if you want to i'd recommend the stones, duped, for enchanting

    Try it with enchantments.
