Unless you know, they're just giving it higher-rez textures and other graphical goodies. In which case, I won't mind it being a month late.

@ omega-phantom That's obviously a lie, if they said that. The real truth is they simply want to curb as many pirated copies as possible. It's a common trend in gaming to delay PC releases ahead of console counterparts.

They pay game companies not to release or delay releases on other platforms to try and boost their sales. Pretty lame that Bethesda excepted it.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

Microsoft has pretty much no first party devs, they put all their budget into timed / exclusive dlc on third party games.

What's with all the DLC crap! I want something real I can keep not thin air, we love packaging, art work the new smell of a booklet these things are all apart of our memories of a game - I hate the direction gaming is going in, it's breaking my heart.

[/QUOTE] Yes ... which raises production costs because of paper, packaging, and the whole nine yards. Physical copies are all well and good ... saving money where they can? Priceless - For everyone involved (consumers included)- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

Not to date myself too much, but it kind of reminds me of switching from vinyl to 8-track & cassettes to CD's and finally to digital music, Lyca. We used to get a boat load of goodies: graphics on covers, booklets, ect. with 33 1/3's. Then less, so with 8 Tracks, cassettes and CD's. Now we get jack squat with Digital stuff from iTunes, etc... Welcome to the digital age, one and all .... :)

I haven't seen an actual answer to this guys question. I will say first week of August, but it did come out June 26 on 360 so maybe at the end of July. I am not sure if I will get it at release on PC because of the Steam summer sale .. I bought both Witcher games so that will keep me occupied for a bit.

I have been busy with other games but I just decided to buy dawnguard because it is only $16 on the website I got it from. A steal for the amount of hours ill put in, and the fact it might get me back into the game. The other good thing is I bet there are tonnes of cool mods since I left.
The base game alone pays for any and all dlc itself.
I like that GW2 doesnt have a monthly fee because I dont feel like I HAVE to play like I do with wow. So I can play skyrim :D
