No thanks won't be downloading this.

Especially when the download was only 500mb or so.  Bioware has provided like 4 DLC's for free.

I will not be buying this.

How does Bioware have anything to do with this.

I think the price is fine for adding a brand new mechanic to the game, with new questlines and a new type of weapon. Bioware adds a new quest line and an ending extension.

Bioware put out 4 crappy DLC packs for free, will not spend money on any good DLC from other games. Makes perfect sense.

Sure free DLC's are great, but spending 20 bucks for a great dlc is worth it. And i thought the dlc is gonna be gigabites

Pft. You can get 200+ hours out of skyrim alone - the game has already paid for any DLC that comes out in my personal opinion.

Any reason to go back to skyrim is very exciting. I LOVED the game, but got a bit bored. Cant wait to go back

Exactly yeah i was alil annoyed at first that it cost $20 but seriously, I have probably spent over 200 hours on this game. Alot of the time I just explorie not even doing anything but casting spells on random people and then you run into quests which take even longer? So i think this DLC has already paid for itself. And its actually pretty cool im not far into it but, already the vampire quests are really fun and being a vampire lord is a lot of fun, very powerful and different! Seriously you should just bite the bullet and spend the $20 you won't miss it not when you can explore skyrim as a powerful vamp!!

1600 points - yes worth it. It took me just under 20 hours to complete both sides (vampire and danwguard). I've played over 200 hours sofar and expect at least another 200 hours. Everyone has the right not to buy this dlc but why feel the need to **** about it and compare it to other games/dlc's???

It's worth it but if you're still getting into Skyrim, better just wait it out and let them fix the glitches.

If I recall correctly then Skyrim itself was only 3-4GB upon installation. It offered hundreds of hours, so if TC's gameplay/size comparison holds up then that would make Dawnguard worth its price more then 99% of the full games out there.

Sadly it is not that great. Dawnguard is still well worth the price as it offers two new guilds, lots of side quests, new locations and a new transformation. That is more then you'll get from any Bioware DLC, when it comes to quantity/price then Bioware is among the worst out there. They rip-out the feature to customize your party members then sell you party member gear for a few dollar.

And the only reason why they're giving away free stuff now is because they screwed up horribly and they know their ME3 DLC will not sell unless they first fix their reputation. They even cancelled the last three DLC packs for DA2. Their games aren't selling right now and they can learn a lot from Bethesda here. Bethesda waited half a year before even announcing their first DLC to Skyrim. Skyrim is bigger then any Bioware game ever was (and by the look of things ever will be) and Bethesda did it without Day 1 DLC or pre-order BS.
