I just installed Skyrim, steam updated everything since it wouldn't let me play unless I did and the version is 1.6.89.0, now when I start a new game I see the part where I'm in a cart however the whole cart goes upside down and the ones in front do the same and it is just unbearable to watch, i can't even see anything when it starts to spin like crazy. I'm assuming this is a bug, but if I'm not mistaken this is the newest patch... any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you in advance

Patch 1.6 (The one you have) is currently in BETA for the PC. The is likely the problem. But why is it the problem?
Well, I too have the BETA 1.6 patch and it works lovely for me. Mounted combat and all. Perhaps you have mod(s) that are conflicting with the new patch? You can always get rid of the BETA patch and play with only the stable patches.

The official release of it came out last week, no longer in beta.
To my knowledge the patch is only 'officially' released on Xbox and won't be released for PC/PS3 for a little while longer. I have to Opt-in for BETA on my steam client in order to download patch 1.6 for Skyrim.

I don't have any mods installed yet as this is my first time, I don't like the idea how steam makes you update a game before you can actually play it, I was hoping to not update period . but yes in the intro the carts crash, the turn upside down its hard to play a game when the first thing you see is well that kind of bug..

Didn't this used to be caused by disabling vsync? But I thought it was fixed?

I started a new game after downloading the 1.6 patch and didn't get anything like what the OP is describing. Might want to try updating your video card or delete your local content then download Skyrim again.
