We speak to producer Jean-Bernard Jacon about why a solider is an F-16 on legs in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
cant wait for this MOH halo reach and possibly cod black ops not if the multiplayer is the same if so then screw it
Close quarters combat...awesome. the Ghost Recon series has always been good. The reality and technology that the series employ is really neat. I dig the third-person view as well. Peace yall.
like the idea of the team link up system, will encourage more team work that tends to lack a bit more in console FPS compared to PC (in my experience)
@Wartime21 I know I know the name is future warrior but look at all the previous ghost recon, rainbow six and end war stuff they were all stuff you could POSSIBLY see coming into existence by 2020 (hence the fact that end war is 2020-5), I just mean I am finding it funny that not only have they jumped forward past plausible future weaponry and gear but into the kind of stuff you saw in 70s sci fi movies like Alien with guns that look like small cannons XD.
@Holy_Terra i think they just used things that are being tested or future weapons and tech that the military wants to develop and picked a random point in the future. so if they wanted to be more realistic with that time frame id say at least 75 years lol
link-up sounds good. and no dude, Paris is definitely the romance capital of the world, maybe Italy is the romance country of the world? and maybe you're thinking of Venice? Either way this game looks sick! i will take 1 engineer, please.
Very excited about this one. Looks more like how I pictured Advanced Warfighter being initially. Future tech definitely is the selling point here.
Sounds good and I really like how the enemies will also be high tech. I'm not totally sold on the link up idea however, I need to know more about it
I love what he says is "PLAUSIBLE" becoming invisible, firing rockets from backpacks that can destroy Russian MBTs and firing Uranium rich ammunition that is currently only in use by mechanized divisions? XD Im sorry I just don't see that being plausible for 50 years, I could believe it for some of the weapons but not the invisibility XD.I just find it funny its not a criticism I honestly think it looks awesome and will probably pre-order it, i just like his idea of plausible XDXDXDXD.
what happen to Clancy his games use to be based on realism. The stuff in this game doesn't look realistic at all, an invisibility cloak is not very realistic man. They lost there way after they made advance war fighter. Now its just another arcade shooter.
What's up with all those "Russian ultranationalists" stories? I would like to see a conflict staged in teh US, UK, or even Japan.
This looks promising, I've been waiting a while for another ghost to come out. the thinking mans shooter
cheese eatin surender monkeys! na only jokin, i hate splintercell games but love ghost recon (apart from crap 1 on ps2, the one were u couldnt c ur gun) hope its gna b great, good single player...not jus multiplayer, not all of us gamers r rich!
@takreem- I know! I know they have tested active camo, but the thing is that they need to understand enemies are NOT going to be as powerful as you are; you ARE ghosts. They don't have exoskeletons, and did they say enemies' soldiers can link up? Did they say enemies have better versions? I'm just asking; I don't know. I think the Ghosts will be better than enemies- trust me. THey don't have the gadget with that the commando has, I don't think!
@waterdragon222 'Invisibility cloaks' have been successfully tested on 3D objects, if you want, I can send you a PM about a handful of groups and some...stuff...things...spooky...
@waterdragon222 Well, I did listen to the interview, that nice 'electro-mag-magne-tic-pulse' guy (although I don't like saying it but it looks good), said something like,"We don't want to make the game easy, so we have the enemies the same gadgets as the Ghosts" which is very stupid of us, isn't it?. I mean the Ghosts are an elite US group, their gadgets are Confidential or whatever...or unless...the terrorists stole them?
I hate how they took concepts from killzone2 but then again half of the shooters now a days been doing that but yea I might just give this game a shot...
