All About Aseroth
I bought the Premiere Edition specially for the additional features. I could have just bought the standard game for a cheaper price but still opted to the Premiere Edition.
At first I was very excited on purchasing and getting my first pre-ordered Special Edition title and from my favorite series nonetheless. I installed the game and played campaigns and found it really nice, however the story of RA2 is more in-depth, exciting and much better in terms of content. Seeing Ms. Gemma Atkinson for every mission really is a nice catch. In short, the first experience was nice. Afterwards I plugged in the extra discs and to my dismay, I find it a bit lacking of something, lacking in everything it should have. Even after the release of the new website and for the additional premiere maps, it still lacks of content. I just hope that the beta key given with the game serves as a great compensation for the things that lack thereof.
All in all the game is great, the ai is very challenging, the online skirmish is stable, I haven't tried the co-op mode for missions but I bet it's great. So I can confidently conclude that the game deserves Gamespot's rating if not a higher mark. However I can't say the same for the value of the Premiere Edition's content, probably because I don't play Warhammer Online or just being very demanding. But I could say Westwood (solo) had done better story however EA made better games for CnC.
