My friend who lives right next to me in my college got Halo 4 a few days ago, and I finally got a chance to play online multiplayer with my friends yesterday.
In terms of multiplayer, this is the best Halo yet. I love how you can get assist kills even when you're dead, and it seems like the controls have been perfected in this game. Jaw dropping graphics as well.
If this is the direction future Halo games are going it, then count me in!

It is the best in terms of straight up gameplay and visuals. However it lacks maps, vehicles, playlists, etc. that really make the game feel lackluster. Where the hell is firefight as well?
Don't get me wrong though, I'm loving Halo 4.
I think the direction Halo 4 takes is basically the same as the other Halos. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not the next step in the series evolution so much as a continuation of what Bungie made. I still say Reach is the best one though.
