New PC
I've recently just bought a new PC. I had my previous one for 5+ years, and while it was still in decent shape and running well, I wanted a proper upgrade. I had to start from scratch, because upgrading from the old parts would have just been pointless because pretty much everything needed an upgrade.
Anyway, here are the specs, for anybody interested:
Case
COOLERMASTER HAF 922 MID TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i5-2500k Quad Core (3.30GHz, 6MB Cache) + HD Graphics
Motherboard
ASUS® P8Z68-V LX: USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, ATI®CrossFireX
Memory (RAM)
8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (2 x 4GB KIT)
Graphics Card
2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 Ti - 2 DVI,HDMI,VGA - 3D Vision Ready
Memory - 1stHard Disk
120GB INTEL® 320 SERIES SSD, SATA 3 Gb/s (upto 270MB/sR | 130MB/sW)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX750 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZEIt's not right at the top of the line, but it's a really nice system. It runs Starcraft 2 on extreme and stays above 100 frames per second. I've yet to try any other games on it. I'll be looking to buy Battlefield 3 on the PC at some point and see what it can do.
Speaking of Battlefield 3, I bought it on 360 and I've played a bit of the multiplayer. It's very different to my usual Call of Duty, and sometimes it can be far too slow for my liking, but on the whole, I really enjoy it. The random stuff you can get up to in the game is really fun, and playing it with a few friends is a laugh. It will take a little while before I get "good" at the game, but I'm enjoying it so far.

What is this? I don't understand.
In my previous blog, I started off talking about how I hadn't blogged in a while. There was a three month gap between that blog and the one before it. That was nine months ago.

I guess I'm just not as vocal about my opinions on games as I used to be. I still play them (although I don't play as many games as I would like to as I usually play either Call of Duty with friends or Starcraft 2), I just don't talk about them afterwards as much as I used to.
Speaking of Starcraft 2, it's probably my favourite game....of all time. I love it. I'm still not that amazing at it, although I would be much better if I actually played as much as I wanted to, but it's not just about that. It's about the amount of time I spend thinking about it. That sounds weird, but it's not really. I follow the professional Starcraft 2 scene quite a lot now. I watch a lot of live tournaments, and a lot of online videos about the game. I am completely engrossed in the Starcraft 2 scene. I can talk about the game all day and not be bored. It's a game that you are always learning about.
Outside of that, Starcraft 2 is just a bloody good game that is fun to play, even when you get destroyed in a match.
There have been other games, obviously. Modern Warfare 3 came out and I don't like it (well, I don't like the multiplayer anyway). It's not balanced. It's not fun. It's not good. But it's the one game that we (my friends and I) all own, so on a Friday night, after the work week is over, we all jump on and try to have a laugh. But we really need a new multiplayer game to play.
Other than that, I've just been working a lot, which is great, and getting by as normal. It's all good. I'm looking forward to the Christmas break. I intend on working through some of the many games I have bought recently and haven't played yet. I intend to do this, but I might just end up playing Starcraft 2 the entire time, which is fine too.
