  November 2012 Update

  Just thought to write something to let people know I'm still alive. So since my last update I graduated from college with a 4-year Bachelor's Science degree with a major in Digital Media Arts: Cinematography on Saturday May 6, 2011 from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I flew back to my hometown Chiang Mai, Thailand on May 19, 2011 after spending a few weeks packing up my stuff and figuring out what to store in my Grandpa's USA home in Joplin, Missouri.

  Since coming back to Thailand I've been unemployed for half the time I've been here. I've done some photo and book archiving and got paid some for doing it, but that's about it for work. My dad is pretty much taking care of all my expenses as well as raising money to pay off my college debt so its not all bad leeaching off my parents. While I know that its frowned upon to take advantage of my parents like this I don't care. Its the easiest way for me to survive and continue endulging myself in my gaming addiction including watching endless anime, movies, and cartoons and reading countless news articles about how bad the economy is getting.

  Now Christmas is around the corner and I've gotten my sister who's still in college to bring some items I've ordered online to her location to bring over here to Thailand since there's no tariff tax on electronics using this method. I ordered three Nintentdo 3DS games:

  1. Final Fantasy: Theatrhythm
  2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS
  3. Resident Evil: Revelations

  I'm also getting a Supercard DSTwo which will allow me to play my digital DS games on there as well as playing a bunch of games from other systems too. Its a pretty awesome flash cart that anyone with a 3DS should get. Just make sure you have a regular DS to use in order to update it so that you can play it on the 3DS. That's what I'm going to have to do, but its no problem since I already have a DS.

  In any case, I've been depressed about my future and what I'm good at that could make me a good living, but I've been living here safely since I got here so it isn't so bad. I don't have to worry about anything since I can depend on parents to take of whatever. I know I can't stay like this forever, but until a better option or some amazing opportunity comes around I'll be living with my parents until then. Now I would like to say I'm "living in my parent's basement" but I'm living on the same floor as them in a nice air conditioned room so it isn't all that accurate lol. ^^ I'm actually waiting to see what happans after Dec 21, 2012 as well as Jan. 1, 2013 for the the fiscal cliff. I'm dreading that food and gasoline prices will get 3x or 4x more expensive after those dates because then that would mean that I'm even more stuck living with my parents. On the other hand though I wouldn't have to worry about survival since I have everything I need so I can take comfort in that in case the world economy crashes. The only thing I look forward to nowadays is the advancing technology of video games. Seems like every couple years video games just seem to get more and more amazing.

  Well, I don't know if anyone will ever read this, but to anyone who skipped down here I felt I needed to write something after a long period of inactivity. Can't believe its been six years since i joined this site. Time sure flies when playing games. That's it for this entry for now. Don't know when I'll find the motivation to write another one like this, but it'll probably be around the hyped up Dec 21, 2012 end-of-the-world date as I reflect on how people are behaving as this date draws near. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

  E3 2010 and where I am right now.

  Well I just thought to post another blog post since it's been a year just to let my gamer friends know that I'm still alive. Anyway, Been watching all the press conferences for E3 2010 and today is almost the end of Day 1 of E3. Yesterday was the Pre-day for E3, but Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft did their press conferences and there was an episode of Tonight on the Spot. Lots of cool announcements for games have been happening and E3 and never looked busier on the streams. I'm here in Joplin, MO at the moment living with 3 of my cousins and I've been here since Friday May 7, 2010 and I'll be here till July 15 or maybe until August 26 when I have to go back to my Senior year at college. That's all for now.

  Home at last for Summer Vacation

  I finished my semester at college on May 7 and my classes this semester were such a drag. My Dad then picked me up the next day at 8 AM from my college and then delivered all 6 of my 40 pound tubs to a friends house to store for the next 104 days until I come back. We had to drive about 11 hours to San Angelo to visit my brother for the weekend. We then continued to drive around to two other places before we started our long 31 hour plane ride to Thailand.

  I arrived here in Thailand only 15.5 hours ago here and I am so relieved to not have to worry about packing. I will be staying for the next 89 days until August 19 before I return to the USA. But that doesn't mean I don't have internet. Yay!

  But yea, now I can FINALLY relax a little. I've mostly recovered from jet lag and I'm excited that E3 is going back to its roots. Some of the games they're showing are amazing! I'm probably so impressed because I really havn't played all that many games on the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. One of these days I'm going catch up in the video game arena by getting a high-end PC with the highest specs as well as a PS3 and Nintendo Wii. That's all for now.
