I love Sony, and I love my ps3. I am a Sony Fanboy and have no problem saying that, but there is a multitude of Series I would love to see on the PS3, from both Micr$haft and Nintendo.

Microshaft

- Forza

- Viva Pinata

- Crack Down

- Tenchu Z

Nintendo

- Pokemon

- Donkey Kong

Out of the Big 3 this generation I have an Xbox 360 and Wii. There are a few PS3 exclusives that I would really like to play like Heavy Rain and Uncharted.

I wouldn't mind seeing Forza on PS3 myself. On the flip side at least the PS3 has games you can't get on other consoles.

I'm long past my Pokemon stage, but I do love DK Country Returns. One of the few games I enjoyed on the stupid Wii. It's nice having 360/PS3 combo if you can afford it, or a PC or whichever, I hate missing out on games!

For me, the list starts and ends with Alan Wake.

Yeah and as PC gamer there are a LOT of games I would have loved to play but I couldn't. Uncharted, Bayonetta, Heavy Rain, are just a few...

there's lots of great exclusive series for Microsoft/Nintendo that could be made for PS3, but one, that's not how marketing works, and two, certain series wouldn't feel right if they were on other systems. then again it's not like we have a choice :P

a Nintendo game will never be on another console so I cannot see it happening, also Tenchu I remember that game good times

I miss Donkey Kong, wouldn't mind seeing it on the PS3. But Nintendo parting with it? Never.

Well looking at it from an industry viewpoint,

1. Microsoft is running after big daddy Apple so they want to copy the device + service model. Surely they would want to retain their exclusives. Unless they ONLY focus on the device + service.

2. Nintendo will never part from it's exclusives. It's their flesh and blood. The only way would be if the WiiU truly fails or on par with the Gamecube. With today's development costs, Nintendo would have to look to...

Sony! They probably hate PC more. And with Sony having Gaikai, the next generation will also be about streaming games, anywhere you want. So there.

you never know what will happen in the future but it seems unlikely - PC gets more games available which is why I stay with it more often

I wouldn't mind seeing Halo, Legend of Zelda, Starfox or Pokemon put on consols PS3. then again I have all three systems anyway so guess doesn't matter to much for me anyway.

Though between the 3 systems I prefer PS3 last gen I prefered Nintendo Gamecube.

I'd also love Tenchu, it was great on PS1 and PS2, wish they havent switched to MS.

Well, Sony basically took the exclusivity of BioShock and Dead or Alive from Microsoft, two games that I love and it infuriates me to see that they're on PS3. In exchange, we got Final Fantasy and Metal Gear, so I think the fair trade as already been done.

There was a spin off pokemon game on the PS2 so it might be very unlikely for one to hit PS3 but its not completely impossible. I would also like to get a chance to play Viva Pinata on PS3 but its not gonna happen :(

Unless you like games in the vein of Harvest Moon/Sims/Animal Crossing, you aren't missing ANYTHING by missing Viva Pinata. I noticed you did NOT put Animal Crossing on your Nintendo games wanted list, and Animal Crossing is a much better simulator game than Viva is...sadly. It's notably marketed to the female demographic of course, as those games are ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goN2f1l9cQw ).

I bought both Viva games on 360 expecting a fun Platformer from RARE, it turns out the second VIVA game was basically a GOTY version of the first VIVA game. I bought both, boy was I upset the second one wasn't as sequel. Viva, like AC and Harvest, was simply an animal simulator game. We don't have to worry now, as RARE has been gutted of their roots and talent is now a Kinect developer. Viva wasn't bad, it's just not what people think it is.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/viva-pinata-is-for-girls-gates This link from Bill Gates explains what you are missing if you didn't know, he calls Viva Pinata for girls.

I also own Tenchu Z, but unlike the PSOne and PS2 Tenchu games I own, this new Tenchu Z game is a huge, huge let down. :( http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/tenchu-z  56/100. Here at GS they gave it a 4.9/10. They really screwed up a great series, but it was a different dev making the game and taking the Tenchu name in vane.

I can understand the name along though could conjure up nostalgia, that's why I bought it after all. :P
