In this blog I will be writing about the games that I have finished. It's not like a review which I will also do seperatly, but more of a "My Thoughts on the Game" section. I'm going to include the endings to games. So be warned that you might find out more than you would like to know when you read this. Enjoy

  God Of War: Ascension - Completed

  Synopsis: Kratos is being taken prisoners because he tried to break his oath with Ares. He escapes and of course now he's out to kill anyone who stands in his way to try and break the oath. On the way he's met by the usual monsters from Mythology who he quickly disposes of, until a battle begins between him and the Furies.

  The Good: Yet again they managed to push the boundaries of the Playstation 3's processing power with some outstanding graphics, and epic scope of the surroundings and the stages. Taking place mostly on a giant moving titan, it just is awesome to look at. The same upgrade system was kept from all the old games, so you feel right at home from the moment you switch it on. It's a good plot actually, with 2 stories actually happening at the same time. It's actually one of the longest God Of War games so far. I think I spent a good 10 - 12 hours on it, and I kinda run through these games quite quickly. Some awesome puzzles helped.

  The bad: Sometimes there were some dodgy camera issues, and I ran into a bug where the scene didn't change so I was stuck on the other side of the wall and could not get out. Other than that, the game is awesome.

  Devil May Cry HD Collection - Completely Given Up

  Synopses: Hell Knows? You kill Demons, and there's a girl in each one.

  The Good: Lots of fighting. Was probably good when it came out.

  The Bad: Super Frustrating. OMW! I finished 1 and 2, and then started on 3. I think I might have finished the first 3 levels and just totally Rage Quit after that. The stage design is just ridiculously annoying, and don't even get me started on the idiotic camera. I hated the fact that you had to purchase continues. I mean really?

  I'm not going to spend another second on this game. Not writing a review or playing it. This is going back to the bargain bin for me. I'm sure the new ones are much better, and I'll deffo give them a go if there's nothing else to play.

  Darksiders 2 - Completed

  Synopses: While War is causing all kinds of trouble, it's up to Death to try and save his brother. You head into 5 different worlds to find the keys to the well of souls where you will be able to make right the wrongs against him. Corruption has taken over most of the worlds and at the end you manage to defeat the source of it all.

  The Good: I like the over the top kind of graphical style they go with in these games. It makes you forget about real life and you can just enjoy the eye candy which is Darksiders. I liked the Upgrade tree with the different powers you're able to unlock. The acting is pretty good, and the story is interesting. Loved loved loved the Puzzles and all the wall scaling stuff. That's right up my alley.

  The Bad: I'm not a fan of RPG games, so I was a bit sad that they had to add those kinds of elements into a game. I don't like to equip loot and 100 side quests. It's not my type of game. I got frustrated with the missions as well. "Get 3 objects which will unlock a door where you have to find 3 objects to unlock something that will give you access to an area where 1 of the 3 objects are hidden which you are already looking for". It gets seriously annoying.

  Good game. Good addition to the franchise.
