Sad Day
Today is a very sad day for myself and for my wife. Our beloved Border Terrier of fifteen years was put to sleep via sod. phenobarbital euthansia at our veterinarian's office. Abby came home with us as a five week old puppy. She was relatively illness free until she turned 12 years old. That's when she came down with sugar diabetes, hypothyroidism and eventual blindness. The hormonal medicines (insulin and thyroid replacement) restored her to a normal active life. Three months ago she started showing signs of doggie dementia. The decision for euthanasia was incredibly difficult and painful. We miss you very much Abby and always will. -

Memorick, The Knight's Apprentice (Xbox)
I just finished this game today. This game was a lot more fun than it's given credit for. First of all, this game was pure platforming pleasure. Yes it is true that the camera does go wonky once in a while but it's very few and very far between and more importantly it did not detract from my overall enjoyment of the game. Each level was a very unique experience. Some levels required more platforming than others. This game had no glitches at all on my Xbox which to me is a sign of high production values form Microids. All the professional reviews claimed that this game was short and easy. Well for me it was neither short (approx. 24 hours) nor easy (medium at the very least) and for under $20 was also a great bargain.
Something to be said about this game's boss battles. They were some of the most interesting and varied boss battles that I have played in quite some time. All required multiple trial and error before you can figure out what's going on . Then after a while a weakness in their defense is spotted which could then can be exploited to your advantage. Good job Microids. Keep those great bargain games coming.

Kameo
Well, I just finished my first X360 game, namely Kameo: Elements of Power. This game was everything and more of what I expected from the developer Rare. Beautiful graphics, diverse fantasy enviroments and great gameplay are always the hallmark of a Rare game and Kameo lacks none of its essential componets. I would love to see Kameo develop into a franchise much in the same vein as Zelda. It has all the right elements, pun intended, to achieve this. Nice job Rare!
