It's ok for a game to be simple, but it must be simple in the right ways.
Fellow gamers,
Have you noticed a trend lately? Games are being significantly dumbed down. Not all of them, of course - that would be an unqualified generalization - but enough of them that it causes me to ponder: what is going on in developer's heads that they think they have to dumb down the content/gameplay?
Please respond with your thoughts, if you like. I'm interested to know what others think of this phenomenon - or if it's really that big of a deal at all.
