Games i'd like to See on the WiiU
As much as i like nintendo and i like their latest console (which i don't own as of yet i admit) here's a few over looked games nintendo should release on the WiiU
F-Zero
Hey Nintendo you remember this franchise don't you? last time this game was seen on a nintendo console was on the Gamecube (and i think one of your handhelds as well). why you haven't made a new one since is beyond me. i can't be the only gamer on the planet that would like a new game. and also have online multiplayer.
Ice Climber
Another game that has been overlooked and hasn't really seen a new game ever since the nes. i owned this game and enjoyed it when i owned a copy. and since both characters appear in Super smash bros. brawl i think they should have their own game on the WiiU
Metroid
Yep. i'm a long time fan of this one too (Super metroid still being the best in the series). if you do decide to make a new game in this popular franchise i only want it to have 2D side scrolling and for the love of all that is holy don't do like you did in Other M and have the main character tell her story via voice acting unless it'll be meaningful. but that's just me.
Star Fox
This one is long over due since the only good Game was on the N64 (at least to my knowledge). i'm sure every gamer would agree with me when i say a new Star fox game on the WiiU would be welcome.
Excite bike
This should also get a new game. imagine the possibilities of using the Game pad to create courses into the game like in the nes game and if possible even upload created tracks online to share with friends. that would be cool
Mother (or Earthbound as it was known here in the US)
The WiiU is in need of RPGs and if you expect everyone to buy your console one game that should get a revival/new game is this. Imagine how many gamers would flock to the WiiU if you made a game for both the WiiU and maybe even 3DS and you game do game tranfers between the two. that would be kick ass.
Anyway...that's my rather short list of games that i think should be on the WiiU. any gamers out there that have their own wish list feel free to post your favorites.

New York Comic Con Games
Greetings Fellow gamers. Hope you had a fun weekend. I had a blast. as you may or may not be aware of this past weekend was New York comic con and here are just a few games i came across while there...
Darkstalkers Ressurection
Capcom was in full attendance throughout the con and out of the four games they had there the one that got my attention was Capcom releasing titled game which is due out early 2013 for xbla and psn. a rep from the company told me only Darkstalkers 2 and 3 will be on the dick and will have full achievements. the graphics look exactly the same as it did in arcades (and if you owned them on the dreamcast or any other console). when i asked about a possible new game in the series all i was told that it is in the planning stages and that sketches of the game are on capcom's website. Aside from that, that's all i can tell you.
Marvel vs Capcom: Origin
Another game fully playable at capcom's booth was MvC which much like the Darkstalkers game will be in HD and contain both this title and Marvel Super heroes. and like like afformentioned game it'll likely be out early 2013.
Other capcom games both shown and playable include...
Okami HD
DMC (Devil May Cry)
Street Fighter X Tekken (Vita Version)
and Monster hunter 3 Ultimate (for the Wii U and 3DS)
Tekken Tag Tournament (WiiU Edition)
while also going around to see the other games shown there Namco was there and had a few WiiU titles playable (and trailers) of upcoming games. one of them (which i'm sure you all have by now) is Tekken tag tournament 2 for the WiiU. the game will have all the playable characters that are on the ps3 and 360 versions. the only (and this may or may not be good news to you) is that namco included Costumes based on nintendo characters (like paul phoenix dressed as Mario. I kid you not). when i asked if this was a pre-order bonus they informed me that said coustomes are available when you purchase said game. so if this probably doesn't convince you to get a wiiU to play Tekken than i dunno what will.
Bioware
Yep. Bioware had a small booth while i was at the con and the only info i could dig out of them was that Dragon Age 3 is in the works along with a new Mass effect game. No further details were mentioned. Oh! and before i forgot there will be one last DLC for mass effect 3 coming next month. and that sometime next year Bioware is releasing a Mass Effect trilogy for the ps3 so that all you ps3 owners who wrote to them about mass effect 1 not being on the ps3 you'll finally get your wish. Also while at bioware's booth i asked said rep if there would ever be a chance of a jade empire 2, new MDK or shattered steel titles and all i got was a "Never Say Never" answer. so take that with a grain of salt
Other titles at New York comic con that was there include...
Marvel Universe MMO- I managed to get my hands on this game and was rather impressed. a few playable characters i got to try out were Deadpool, Wolverine and the thing. i went through a single level and fought two major baddies (mainly spider-man's two enemies Shocker and Electro) and to confirm who the main villain is it is indeed Dr. Doom who seems to have gotten ahold of the cosmic cube
Capcom's Remember Me- No Details about this game were given but i did attend a capcom panel sunday where they showed off actual gameplay footage which i was rather impressed by.
other then that Halo 4 multiplayer was there and playable and Ubisoft showed off their Avenger's Game battle for Earth for the 360. mainly the story is taken from the Secret invasion story line along with Ubisoft taking pre-orders for Assassin's Creed 3 (where they were giving away free T-shirts for those that pre-ordered through Amazon) and also Square enix having both Tomb Raider and Hitman Absolution playable at the con. And yes i went hands on with both titles and came away wanting both games. Well that's it for my NYCC report. hope you enjoy this bit of news.
you can check out pics on my facebook page at Facebook/DwayneLowe. i'll post all of them up throughout the week.

Classic Games that should get a reboot
Greetings Fellows gamers. With so many classic games getting HD remakes (like beyond Good and Evil HD) and the recent announcement of a sequel to the nes classic River City Ransom. i thought of some games i think should get remakes or maybe new games on all the current consoles.
10. Street Of Rage
Hey Sega, Listen up!! as a fan of the sega genesis and pretty much all the ****cs released for it. I keep wondering why you don't think about making a brand Streets Of rage game. Granted all three genesis titles can be found on the sega genesis collection for the ps3/360 in HD. i feel you should consider dusting off this series with new characters,Special moves and the usual weapons found in the 3 previous games.
9. Battletoads
Rare,Rare, Rare!!! how the strong have fallen. you once made great titles including Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Donkey kong country and others. But now that Microsoft owns stock in you or whatever you haven't made a decent game(s) other than Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and bolts and Conkers Bad fur day: Reloaded. Well i still believe you can make good games i'd to see a new Battletoads game for the xbox 360. the last game made in this series was Battletoads in Battlemaniacs for the snes. Speaking of Rare games...
8. Killer Instinct
This game's only had two sequels and has been on both the snes and n64 (which in the 90's was gonna be called the Ultra 64) and yet Rare hasn't even bothered going back to this franchise what-so-ever. like i pointed out with Battletoads. Microsoft own stock in you, the 360 is a powerful console (look at games like Gears Of War or the Crysis 2 or even Tekken 6) the 360 has the graphics capability to your cult ****c fighter (which is one of my personal fave fighters) So why no Killer Instinct 3? i mean seriously it cant be that hard to make. heck you can make a collectors edition of the game with an arcade controller packed with the game (like Namco did with Tekken 6 or Like the upcoming Mortal Kombat Reboot). I'm sure i can't be the only gamer that wants it. oh! and Rare...PLUS PUT THE FIRST TWO GAMES ON THE 360 (via Xbox live arcade) I'M SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO WANTS THIS DONE!!!
7. Double Dragon
As a Fan of Beat 'em up (Note: Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, the afforementioned Streets Of Rage and Final Fight) I would like to see a new game in this series. even if it doesn't have series main stays Billy and Jimmy lee (although if a sequel or new game had the two of them in it i'd still play it) against a new Gang (or just the Black Warrior's gang). the game's been on numerous consoles from the sega master system and was currently revived on the iphone. heck Double Dragon was even Referred to in the Scott Pilgrim Movie (and for those who haven't seen said movie, and really who hasn't?! should get it to see what i mean) Anyway...a double dragon HD remake for consoles or a sequel (get media Kidz to do it since they're working on River City Ransom) to develop the game.
6. Crimson Skies
like many people that owned the original Xbox. this was one of my personal favorite games i've ever played (and still have) and it's quite a shame that no sequel was ever made. it had many awesome planes to control. not to mention fun multiplayer. Not sure what happend to developer Zipper Interactive, but since microsoft published the game i wish they could consider making a sequel or new game for the 360 and bring back the fun online Multi-player that made the original Fun.
5. Super mario RPG.
Square and nintendo. at the time they had the best partnership EVER. with square once making FF games for nintendo (even though they still do to this day) the both of them collaborated on one of the best snes games of all time in Super mario RPG. even though the game was turn-based it was still awesome none-the-less and i wish both nintendo and square could revisit that magic again either for the Wii or 3DS and if possible have real time battles instead of turn based (not that i mind either way). but still if nintendo and square hooked up and made a sequel or new game for the systems mentioned i'd buy a copy for either handheld or for the wii.
4. Zombies ate my neighbors
pretty much before there was left 4 dead, Resident Evil or any of the countless other games featuring zombies (though Ghost and goblins was the first to have them prior to this title...I think) there was the hilarious cult hit that appeared on the snes and genesis. (and i'm sure you can find on the wii virtual console). and since it was published by konami (the very company responsible for other great games like contra, castlevania and metal gear solid) i have no idea why Konami doesn't think about giving this under rated (and under appreciated) game a sequel. Nothing says funny like Going up against a Giant baby as well as fighting zombies while trying to keep the characters friends and neighbors from being food for the undead. this game deserves a sequel for both the ps3 and 360 (with the wii having it's own version i guess) and still contain all the hilarious stuff. oh! and add drop-in/drop-out online mode, leaderboards...Etc. the only game that was similar to the snes/genesis game was Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia for the 360.
3. Shattered Steel
While i admit to never having played the game before since it's from Bioware. i saw video of it and wondered why they haven't revisited that cool looking mech game. with the power of the ps3 and 360 this game could probably be made easily for both next gen consoles as well as a new pc game. If Bioware were to consider revisiting the game they could probably and easily add Multiplayer, leaderboards and clan support for all three platforms and have dedicated servers so things run smoothly.
2. Snatcher
Since i already mentioned one konami game on this list i figured why not add another and include this game. After all Deus EX is getting a reboot on the 360,ps3 and pc so i think this cool looking game could possibly work on next gen consoles as well (at least to me lol) and since Hideo kojima Designed the game and character i wish he could work his magic and make a brand new game. i played it once on the sega CD and thought it was pretty darn cool. if there were a snatcher game it could play similar to the upcoming multiplatform game, L.A. Noir and feature crime solving skills and interrogation as well as shootouts. plus feature the dialog system used in bioware's Titles (Mass Effect 1&2 and Dragon Age)
And my number one pick for a game that should get a reboot is...
1. Strider
Not sure if Capcom Remembers this character or not but since the character's had an arcade game and had games on the Genesis and playstation 1. as well as made an appearance in Marvel vs capcom 1 & 2. i think this character should get the next gen treatment on both ps3 and 360. I'm sure other gamers would probably agree with me in saying this character is LONG overdo for a comeback. and those who haven't played the game i suggest trying to grab a copy of it on the sega genesis or the sequel on the playstation cause it was both fun and challenging.
Honorable mentions include...
Zone of the Enders (both games in HD and available for ps3 and if possible the 360)
Ice Climber (i know the original is available on the wii virtual console but this game screams for a reboot using the engine from super smash bros. brawl)
F-zero i know i mentioned this in a previous blog of mine but i'm gonna mention it again. GIVE US A NEW GAME ON THE WII NINTENDO. IF YOU CAN MAKE MARIO KART THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM MAKING F-ZERO. HECK, MAKE ONE FOR THE 3DS. EITHER WAY JUST MAKE IT. oh! and online play would be nice
Star fox- since nintendo is probably planning one for the 3DS they should also consider a wii game.
Well...that's pretty much it for my list. if any fellow gamers have old games they believe should get a reboot or sequel post your favorites.
