A discovery about Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Unless the artist I'm talking about sampled his sources from elsewhere, I know where Amnesia: The Dark Descent got some chunk of its music from, it's from The Caretaker's 1999 album Selected Memories From the Haunted Ballroom and specificially from the track called From Out of Nowhere. The resemblance is eerily uncanny! Check out for yourself:

I might be mistaking it for something else, it's been a couple of months since I've finished Amnesia, but do you think it's a likely source of inspiration? Not necessarily that low-pitched demon voice (actually not at all), but that ghostly female choir that occurs at 0:33 for the first time and the track's overall ambience.

Surprising what you can find in a...toilet
73-year-old woman inhabitant of Wrocław (Poland) living in the downtown found a reptile in the her toilet.
Green anaconda constrictor was found in her apartment's toilet bowl. When Eva she saw the snake, she put the toilet board down, put a bowl with water on it and went to bed - says Thomas Grabinski, the veterinarian, who pulled out the snake of the drains. - Anaconda is very strong. It was stack in the pipe.
Eva notified the police the next morning. Why did she hesitate? - She explained that if she called the night with information about the snake in the toilet, the police would think that she was crazy - Grabinski laughs.
2 meter reptile was taken to the zoo. Police is looking for the owner. - When we were pulling it out it caused no problem because she body was very chilled - explains Grabinski. The brave 73-year-old summed up the situation - Big thing... They found a snake... Whatever.

Just got my ass accepted for post-graduate studies
I'm not that thrilled about the studies themselves (that's why I had a two-year break from them, ever since I graduated), but about an opportunity of changing the environment from stale, slightly below 20,000 inhabitants, town to quite attractive city with a historical background (around 360,000 inhabitants in the city alone, and over 500,000 as a metropolis). What's more important, I have friends there, while here hardly anyone from my clique remained. The city is Lublin:

and I used to live there for half a year as well, so no problems in getting used to it. I'll have two familiar lecturers on the university I've gotten to.
Here is the university by the way:
