  Finished my book!

  Yep. Yesterday I finally finished my science-fiction novel at exactly 156, 213 words long. It was an incredible jounrey, and I'd be lying if I said I loved every moment of it, but the most part I enjoyed it more than I ever thought I would.

  Now I just have to get it edited asnd published. And for those of you who don't know: getting your book published is a hundred times harder than writing one. There's submissions, agents, query letters, synopsises, summaries, contacts, posting, printing, and the best part: waiting for a reply. One publishing group said they take around 12 months to reply. Yeah, fvck that.

  So if you guys know any publishers or agents I'd appreciate it. So far all I've gotten is "no" or "Thanks, it's interesting, but no" or some other crap like that.

  So yeah, if anyone wants any additional information about it or even the first chapter let me know.

  Now Official A University Student..and maybe even a published writer.

  I got in!

  I never thought I could actually do it, but my Year 12 mark was high enough to be let into Uni to study a bachelor of arts degree.

  My majors include English, Media Culture and Techology, Film Studies, and Sociology. Not bad, eh? That's just for the first semster, though.

  And for those of you who know I'm writing a book, I sent the first few chapters off to a few publishers today. I'm now gonna send it off to TorForge, the same people who published the Halo novels. I'll have to mail 'em, and they'll take 6 months to get back to me. A long time, I know, but still. If I get published by them it'll be worth the wait.

  And the book is science-fiction, in case you're wondering. A sci-fi version of Game of Thrones, but not as good.
