This is the start of something that we hope to be... well awesome. Granted that's not to say that we often build things to not be awesome but let's face it you can't make everyone happy.
The mission for the GSPN is to help connect gamers by giving various missions to the community. Now I know what you're thinking... It might be something along the lines of "OMG You've killed community game night?!?! YOU BASTARDS!" Well far from it. We've simply changed the concept a bit. I mean lets face it the term "game night" is a bit dated and not always accurate, especially when you're playing at 1:00pm pst, or 5:00am gmt... or any time for that matter...
So what do you guys think? We're always open to feedback so feel free to let us know. Or if you're just super excited and want to get in on being a "featured player" send an email to contests@gamespot.com with the subject "GSPN Interview".
Looks like it could be good fun - is there a union or board for this group, or just the comments sections on the linked pages?
I'm going to be getting stuck in to Hitman this week, and while it isn't multiplayer the Contracts mode looks like it could be fun for setting challenges against fellow Gamespotters :)
