What games will you play during the holidays?
I've got a pretty decent stack of games that I'm hoping to get to over the holiday break, smaller stuff I didn't make time for, and some bigger stuff I wasn't in the mood for when they came out. I want to finish up Mafia II and God of War III. I'm also hoping to play through Enslaved and Bayonetta, and maybe Medal of Honor, but to be honest I'm kind of exhausted on military shooters right now. I just picked up Alan Wake too, I'd like to play through that one again since I rushed through it when I came out so I could get to Red Dead. I'm also hoping to play through some stuff with my girlfriend, some Rock Band 3 and maybe Kirby's Epic Yarn. We've been playing Deathspank too, it'd be good to finish that one.
What are the kinds of food or drinks you must have during the holidays?
I'm not too picky, but I'm looking forward to having full days at home where it'll be easy for me to cook some stuff that I've been putting off since I haven't had the time. I've got a rack of ribs and a lamb roast I'm looking forward to doing something good with. My girlfriend she's planning an elaborate meal for us, but she says its a secret and won't tell me, but I'm sure it'll be great. But yeah, no onions.

@TylerW Oh, that's sad for me to know that you have an onion allergy. That said, I have already recommended shallots earlier. They have very close texture to onions, and there are substitute recipes for onion rings, like one recommended by Martha Stewart.
@Gelugon_baat I cook a lot of meats with garlic. I recently discovered that I can eat leeks, so if a recipe really calls or onion I use it as a substitute. The onion allergy has done me a lot more favors than not, since its what got me learning how to cook - most premade foods have onion in it. The only thing I really miss are onion rings - there's just no substitute for those. :(
No onions to go with the meat? May I suggest other bulbous plants like the shallot? Meat tastes great if there's a bulbous plant around to add to the flavor.
