  What happened to Uncharted 3?

  I am a huge fan of the Uncharted series but Drake's latest outing didn't impress me much. Uncharted 3 is a good game but it suffers from a few flaws.The story telling is superb as always and the graphics are top notch. The canyon level was absolutely spectacular! The marketplace was also very nice.

  But what happened to Uncharted's combat and gunplay? The combat felt like it was a poor version of Batman's freeflow combat and the gunfights aren't as fun as they used to be.

  Latest Games

  here are two of the latest games i've played and what i think about them..

  
  

  MASS EFFECT 2

  what i liked: less buggy and glitchy than dragon age, graphics are great, it has a really interesting story (i really liked the suicide mission part)

  what i didn't like: AI from both sides is just flatout dumb especially on Insanity (in case you didn't know, i am a trophy whore so i did finished the game on insanity), relationships between crew members are a bit shallow, a bit short (played the game on veteran on my first run, did all missions and i clocked in at 30+ hrs), decisions on mass effect 1 (comic book) doesn't really make a big impact on ME2(i haven't tried all combinations though)

  i've only experience one freeze in my 2 playthroughs of ME2 which is a good thing compared to the numerous times my Dragon Age would freeze on me.. AI is ridiculously dumb on insanity.. most of the time, i would leave my teammates on a safe place and go solo on missions because they are guaranteed to die especially miranda.. there were times also, that enemies would get stuck on one place and will not do anything.. this made my insanity run a bit easier but it was a bit funny when it happens..

  GOD OF WAR 3

  what i liked: more puzzles, awesome boss battles (seriously, the cronos battle was just unbelievable), amazing graphics, the scale is just phenomenal

  what i didn't like: as a veteran GoW player (completed 1 & 2 numerous times) the whole game was feeling a bit familiar, the story could have been better

  i know it's should be more of the same but i can't help this feeling that i've been through this game before.. everytime i see an enemy, i'm like "oh look, it's a wraith, wow, the same moves from before".. although they did add some new mechanics on each enemy (like pulling wraiths out of the ground), every enemy, essentially is just the same as the past 2 games.. don't get me wrong, GoW3 is actually a great game but it's on the bottom of the trilogy in my opinion..

  Just Passin' By

  i rarely visit Gamespot anymore.. i do visit this site from time to time to check out some blogs and update my games list.. i usually hangout at kotaku now.. the community there is much, much better than any of the gaming sites i have visited.. i only visit 3 (GS, destructoid and kotaku)..

  destructoid is the worst in my opinion, even the editors are trolls.. lol..

  GS is ok except for the community.. i can see a lot of swearing and cursing in the comments section.. lol.. what really turned me off was when i read the comments section of Carolyn's review of L.A. Noire.. i mean, i am not comfortable with the transgender sexuality but at least i am polite about it.. you can always say your view in a nice way.. not like what the people here have done on that comment section.. it's disgusting really..

  kotaku is much better.. there are trolls yes, but they are kept to a minimum because the editors themselves are active at moderating the site.. plus some of the comments are really hilarious..

  btw, i heard Limbo is coming to the PSN.. good news for PS3 owners..
