My Friends

15Feb 13

Hello Guild Amongst Many Elaborate Significant Persons On The - Mountainous Event Morning By Eventual Resolution Site.

Would you like to know just how angry I am?  Very.  I was almost done typing this blog last night, One more paragraph to go with gaming, and I'd be pressing submit.  But no, I was in the middle of typing, when all of a sudden, Google Chrome wouldn't respond, and closed on me .  So, here I go again, wouldn't be surprised if I cut some stuff out just to get this posted...

I passed both of my tests, 80 in Chem, and 77 in Economics.  I know it could have been better, but could have been far worse too.  Yesterday was Valentine's Day, and had an amazing dinner with my love.  Wish it could have kept going and going, but that's what occurs I guess.  Been trying to write a song for her, and I have the lyrics, now I just need to come up with the music for it.

I think there was another thing or two to cover, but I don't remember, and don't feel like wracking my brain to figure it out, so I'll more or less continue with games.

With the revealing of several prototypes for the PS4 controller, I guess it's pointless to argue that the PS4 won't make some sort of reveal and debut at the meeting this week.  If it isn't backwards compatible to the PS3, wouldn't mind buying a PS3 fairly soon.  No doubt there will be price drops soon because of this.  Looking forward to more news on Destiny this weekend.  Something from last week, the Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Murdered: Soul Suspect have really got me interested and wanting more information about them.  It's a shame Ethan Carter  is a PC exclusive, and my laptop sucks with games.  Maybe I can figure something out.  Also, apparently Watch Dogs is suppose to be out by the end of this year.  Very excited about this if it proves to be true.  Oh, and something similar for the next Batman Arkham game, or at the very least a reveal of what it is, and the plot.

Small updates on playing list...

  • Assassin's Creed 3 - 75%
  • Batman: Arkham City - 44%
  • Dishonored - 11%
  • Gears of War - 40%
  • Ninety Nine Nights - 43%

and BlockBuster game...

  • Bionic Commando - 0%

So, probably the only good thing about losing my blog last night was when I woke up this morning, I got an email from BlockBuster they just sent Bionic Commando, and will be here by Tuesday.  It kind of surprises me, since I was expecting Bulletstorm. This just goes to show, I can never get things right, lol.  I looked at the list of achievements, and almost all of them are completing the levels.  Only others are beat on a certain difficulty, two of them, a collectible, and a kill someone.  As much as I'd like to say this game will be done in no time, lol, I learned my lesson from Shadows of the Damned, and I'll just play and enjoy it.

As for what I have played, that is more Batman: Arkham City.  I think my percentage might be more, but I don't feel like looking it up now.  One thing I love about City over Asylum is the medals to get in the Combat and Predator challenges seem more likely  to be obtained with some perfection.

***SPOILER***

I did play some Assassin's Creed 3, but nothing story wise, mostly worked at incresing my homestead, and such.  Maybe I'll do a few more side missions on the Frontier, otherwise I have full intentions on continuing the story the next time I play the game.  Also, just remembered this week, the first episode of the tyranny of King Washington releases, so I'm a little excited for that now.

Wasn't a good week to keep up the promise I would play my other games considering all of the studying I needed to do for my tests, but I hope before my next blog, I do at least start the next act of Gears 1, and the next mission of Dishonored, including to the continuation of my playing of Arkham City and AC3.

That's pretty much it for this week.  I'm looking at the week ahead and I'm not seeing much of anything to write about next blog except games, games, and games.  We'll see though, life is full of surprises, ain't it?

Ok, until next week/blog.

Pa pa.

Am hoping the Playstation 4 is backwards compatible wonder what would happen to the digital titles you, and if your account carries over for the next hopefully they have an option so you can change your username.

Yeah, definitely hate when that happens losing whole blogs I get internet Explorer crashing then try to recover webpage and end up losing the blog. Kind of hard to resist punching a whole through the computer screen. I've already thought about chucking the whole computer across the street as well. It doesn't bother me as much if it is near the beginning though. That is kind of why I sometimes try and click the submit button when blogs aren't finished so I don't lose everything if I can. Then I end up not caring if I post the blog after that.

Anyway nice job on passing the test.

@-Vulpix-  that is a good point.  they've built PSN and XBL up, would they just really throw it away after a generation?  They said they will release PS3 games digitally for the PS4 like the day after I posted this.  now are they going to release every game?  or just the real successes?  is it going to be all day 1?  or slowly bring them in?  and also will they have a way to prove you own the game so you don't have to buy them again, or at least have them super cheap?

the site designers need to find a way to incorporate livefyre into the writing of the blogs, because one time I was writing a comment, forgot to hit submit, and x'd out the page to one of your blogs, and when I came back, it was still there.  but for the time being, yes, it's a whole sort of rage quit ordeal when that occurs.  I find it pointless to write it again the same day, and will often just wait 24 hours or more before writing it again.  and thanks.
