  Sands of Destruction - Side-Quests

  ===Kyrie===
  ====Weapon====
  To get the best weapon, first head to Lyse in the Summer Isle. You'll automatically be taken to the southern part of the town after the cutscenes, where you've previously done the dark/light puzzle, but I'll remind you how to solve it. Starting from the second path (from left to right), head to the starting point of the puzzle.
  
  * From the enterance, follow the only path you got.
  * In the next screen, head to the north, then move a little to the east, and follow the first path leading to the south.
  * Head north, then go southwest through the gate.
  * Head north, then follow the nearest path leading to the south.
  * Head north, and when you reach the lady wearing pink continue heading north then east, then head south on the only way you find.
  
  Now that you solved the puzzle, head to the west of here on the star platform. You'll reach the blue part of the Tower of Light. After the cutscene, turn on the switch to the north of here. Go to the other switch to the south. It's already turn on, so turn it off, then head to the portal to the south. Fall down through the red hole on this floor. Go to the first switch, which was green (turn on). Turn it off, then head again on the portal to the south.
  
  Here, go through any portal to reach the boss (note that this floor has a treasure box and a recovery point).
  
  Kill the boss (Shadow Kyrie). You'll receive the weapon (Destruct Blade) once you defeat him.
  
  ====Armor====
  Head to Mirrorsand Grotto, in the Spring Isle. Head to the south of here to reach the Hamlet of Barni. After the cutscene, you'll automatically get the armor. Note that if you have previously visited this area before the rebirth of Kyrie, and found the Legendary Apron, you'll get the best armor (Crimson Gear). If not, you'll still get a good armor (Crimson Robe).
  
  ===Morte===
  ====Weapon====
  Go to Agi Wharfs to watch a scene featuring Felis Rex. Head to Viteau, then go the western part and pay the guy here the money he wants. A new option will be available from his menu (Azure Tower). Choose it.
  
  In Azure Tower, there are two ladders. The one to the east will lead to a trasure box. Go up the other ladder. In the second floor, push the button then head back to the previous floor. Notice that half of the water has been removed. Now you can go down the stairs to get the trasures. However, some guys will interrupt you. Get rid of them, then get all the goodies. The ladder in the middle will lead to a treasure box, but can also lead to the top. However, if you go to the ladder to the north, you'll find a switch that will empty the other half of the water pond. Head down to get the treasures from the other side. The same dudes will come again, so kill them and get the stuff. Head up the ladder in the middle. Walk forward and watch the cutscene. Kill the same dudes once more. After the battle, you'll get the item that Felis Rex wants. He will give you the weapon (Infini) after that.
  
  ====Armor====
  You must have visited the lady in the pink dress in the Floating Garden of Viteau, who gave Morte an armor. Then you probably talked to the other lady in the same town (but she's near the Azure Tower) when you first visited the tower. Finally, when you did the Kyrie's sidequest, you've probably came across the third lady in Lyse, and she gave you another armor. The only thing left is to go back to the second lady near the Azure Tower and talk to her. She'll give you the ultimate armor (See-through Dress) after a cutscene.

  ===Taupy===

  If you don't get the armor in this side-quest, there's no way to get it elsewhere. Read the next section for more information.

  Head to Viteau in the Spring Isle. You'll see a cutscene (this will be shown after you complete Morte's sidequest). Head to Taupy's place. If you forgot where it is, go east then north (in the Shopping Arcade). It's in the northeast of here. After you enter his house, you'll know that you need to go to three places and defeat the bears there.
  
  First, head to Garragis Wastes in the Winter Isle (the northern enterance). Follow the only path you got, and when the road forks, head west to the dead end. You'll fight a bear here (Black Death). After the battle, you'll get Onyx Gloves (key item). This guy rarely drops the best armor for Taupy (Victory Bandana). Make sure to save your game BEFORE the battle, so that you load it if you don't get the armor.
  
  Next, head to Tanner Plateau in the Autumn Isle. The bear (Brown Bullet) is located in the northwestern area. Fight him to get the Tan Gloves. This bear sometimes drops Heaven and Hell, a weapon for Taupy.
  
  Now head to Albion Greenwood in the Summer Isle from the western enterance. You'll find the other bear (Rouge Destroyer) in the southwestern part of this area. He will give Crimson Gloves as he dies. This drops Gods and Demons, a weapon for Taupy.
  
  Finally, you'll be automatically taken to Sphir Meadows after some cutscenes. Make your way to the bridge in the middle (the orange mark in the map). After the cutscene, you'll receive the best weapon, Friend's Gloves.
  
  ====Armor====
  The ultimate armor, Victory Bandana, is a missable item. It is only obtained from one of the three bears you had to fight (see the above section). After some observation (I killed each one of them about 10 times), it appears that the only one that drops it is the Black Death, who is in Garragis Wastes. Make sure to save the game before fighting him. If you killed him without getting the item, load the game and try again.
  
  ===Agan===
  ====Weapon====
  Visit Bacchitav Caravan. After the cutscene, head to the chief. She will offer you a test. Accept it. Keep investigating the blue parts in this area. You'll find some items or money. Agan will also learn a quip. You might face a monster, but that's the weak version of the boss. Keep looking for the boss, and when you find it, defeat it. You'll return to the chief, who will give you the best weapon (Ganze Whip).
  
  ====Armor====
  To get the best armor, visit the armorer after doing the test for the weapon (see above). Also, you should have bought all of Agan's tailored coats from the armorer when he offers them to you (you probably did this earlier in the game; the Nice, Fine, and Keen versions of this armor). He will automatically give you the armor (Dust of Venus).

  ===Rhi'a===
  ====Weapon====
  Head to the Valley of Dragons. After the cutscene, head to the crevasse to the west. Keep walking then fight the Chaos Elder, then keep going until you reach the Tower of Wind. Take the western path and head up the stairs. Keep going up until you reach the fourth floor. Move to the purple portal to the west, then push the button. Head to the next portal, which is slightly to the north of your current location (there's treasure chest here). Now push the other button, then move on the southern green portal. Push the button here (also there's another treasure chest). Head back to the starting point then go to the middle. Step on the red portal. Head north and fight the Eru Ancient. After that, you'll get the weapon (Omega).
  
  ====Armor====
  Visit Agi Wharfs every now and then until you see a cutscene (not the one with Felis Rex that is related to Morte's weapon). There seem to be some criterea that determine whether you see it or not. It's probably related to the bounty value (you can check this in many towns and just for the record, my Rhi'a's bounty value is G 22,430). Also, I've done this after getting Morte's weapon. You'll first get Black Shift, which isn't a good armor. The second is Laced Chemise, which is most likely probably better than your current armor. The third is Frilled Dress, which is even better. In the fourth and last event, you'll get Maid's Dress, the ultimate armor. You'll also get a nice armor for Taupy.
  
  Someone on GameFAQs wrote that the event can be triggered if your morale is high. Try to equip Rhi'a with accessories that have a red heart, then check again.
  
  ===Naja===
  ====Weapon====
  Head to Mechto in the Autumn Isle. After the cutscene, then go to the Noble Quarter in the northwest. Head to the Tower of Earth to the north of here. After the cutscene, head up as you did in your first visit. Fight the soldiers here (hint: use Naja's Cleansing Cry). In the third floor, you'll see a cutscene then you'll fight more soldiers. Go to the back of this area, then fall down through the hole. There are two holes here. Look at the map. The correct one is the one on the west. Head down through it. Examine the trasure chest then fight the soldiers. After the battle, you'll obtain the weapon (Silverwolf Fang).
  
  ====Armor====
  You'll automatically get the best armor (Wolf King's Grab) after getting the weapon as you leave Mechto.
