A nog blog.

Not enough of those.

My dad had a three gallon jar he kept in the basement fridge for about fifteen years, adding to the holiday's remainder once New Year's was over.  I've been told the White House does the same thing and that George Washington's nog lives on to this day.

I thank you for the coconut milk tip.  My waist line does not.

@BravoOneActual I'm sure there will be more nog blogs as Christmas nears.  I just like the nog and made mine early on.   And I got the coconut milk idea years ago from cooking in the Philippines

Being Puerto Rican, I think you're missing some rum in that recipe...;)

@Steel_Rain777 I know it not right but  is intentional to leave out the rum.    Some of the family does not drink at all anymore.   I miss the rum balls we used to have for Christmas.

If you ever go to Guadalajara I'll tell you where to find the BEST classic, old fashioned horchata-water which happens to be near where I used to live.

I don't know what eggnog is, but there is a drink called Eierlikör I guess it must be the same thing. If it is the same thing, I have tried it years ago and it is nice though one can drink just a small amount of it becaue it is  too creemy and haevey.

Eggnog is a favorite holiday treat!  I have never had Puerto Rican eggnog.
