    - Sang Froid: Tales of Werewolves

These two games have been super enjoyable and are my favorite indie games since Legend Of Grimrock and FTL.

Don't Starve is sort of like a singleplayer DAYZ (mixed with minexcraft), where you need to survive and build/craft things. It is a pretty tough game, if you liked Demon Souls difficulty try this. I saw a dayz streamer talking about this and I am realy glad I bought a copy awhile ago. They have put out a ton of updates and each one adds alot to the game. Also it has a godo amount of replay value, I have already put in over 100 hours on this game and Im sure Ill put many more into it. The game also has some wonderful art design.

Sang Froid Tales of Werewolves is a tower defense/rpg game that has been a super nice surprise. It is funny, fun, has great atmosphere and is pretty unique. It reminds me a combination of xcom and orcs must die 2. During the day you buy things and setup you're traps, then at night you put you're plan into action and see if you can stop the monsters. Like Don't Starve this is a challenging game and while it doesn't have as much replay value as Don't Starve it is more structured and has some interesting characters and story. Not to mention some hilarious Canadian humor and some wonderful voice acting. Also the tutorial videos teaching you hwo each trap works are some of the best ive seen. All this game needs is coop and itll be perfect (The devs have said there sequel will have coop).

So there you have it, two wonderful newer indie games that are well worth the small amount they cost. Both are singleplayer but worth every penny. Was not looking forward to these new PC indie games but I am having a blast.

    King Arthur's Gold Review

If you are a fan of awesome indie games such as Minecraft, Terraria, FTL, and Bastion, then this should be next on your list.

King Arthur's Gold can best be described as a cross between Team Fortress 2's online and Terraria. You are probably asking yourself, "How can a game be a mix of those two?" Well, let me tell you how, it has the look and feel of Terraria (you also dig and build things), but on the flip side, it is very multi-player oriented with big team battles going on like Team Fortress 2. Its a very unique game.

The game is still being worked on and is not fully finished yet, but even as it is right now, its a heck of a lot of fun and worth checking out. There are some small things that could be improved (the soundtrack is a little lacking), but overall this is a very well made game.

This is not a game that will hold your hand and tell you everything that the game offers. Much like Terraria and Anno, you might be a little overwhelmed at first and not sure what to do. There is a tutorial that helps, but also don't be scared to check out the Wiki page and some Youtube videos for tips. This is one thing I love about a lot of the indie games because finding new things out for yourself is very rewarding.

The gameplay here is fun and quickly addictive, and if you buy the game you can play a mode called Zombie Fortress (who doesnt like a zombie mode?). You have to stay alive as long as you can as waves of zombies keep coming and coming.

Updates have been plentiful from what Ive seen and there looks to be many more to come. You can try this game out for free but if you buy it you get a bunch more. I suggest paying the small fee and trying out everything the game has to offer.

When you jump online to play against others you can pick between an Archer, a Builder and a Knight. Each class offers different ways to play and takes some time clocked to master. It is very easy and quick to hop online, pick a server and a class, and begin playing. You can of course start offline as well.

At the end of the day, I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for some fun, new multi-player action. There is some fun to be had playing solo, but the meat and potatoes of this game is definitely the multi-player modes. Pick up the game for yourself and maybe get a friend or two to jump online with you. The game is not going to be for everyone, but I think there is definitely a crowd for King Arthurs Gold.

We had a ton of great indie games, I loved what Legend of Grimrock and FTL brought to the table with the old school feel with a new school twist to the ingie genre. And then as far as the more mainstream games there was some awesome ones to! There was some other good games that I didnt get to list aswell, such as ME3, Counterstrike GO, , AC3, Diablo3, Torchlight2, Risen2, Max Payne3 and Fifa13 that other smight like more then the games I picked, but this is just my personal opinion. I played alot of games this year from consoles to pc,etc.. weither I got them myself or I was sent copes to review, sure there was a godo amount of crappy games (as you see in my Shameful Garbage Of The Year list above and some dissapointing games but overall this was a wonderful mix of indie and mainstream games this year on both PC and console. Next year is looking to be good to!

Happy Holidays to everyone and there loved ones!
