Two similar fails in ONE DAY

Oh man, isn't this hilarious. Resolving around two newly released titles and a couple funny mistakes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (PC version)- It carried the SECOND disc of Mass Effect 2, but no response from Activision as of yet.

LEGO Lord of the Rings (360 version)- It carried the demo disc, though WB responded with a recall.

Beyond Good and Evil 2: the new Duke Nukem Forever?

Man oh man, do I hope this doesn't become true. The original Beyond Good and Evil is one of my favorite Zelda clones (alongside the likes of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Okami, and Star Fox Adventures) and PlayStation 2 game (Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy also falls under this category), and it made me more interested in the hardly discussed sequel.

But with various announcements from Ubisoft (be it from Michel Ancel or any other member, like Yves Gulliemot) saying that it's taking a long time for various reasons (Ancel wanted to move on to next-gen consoles though), and having only released an official trailer, I dread it may be as much vaporware as Duke Nukem Forever was and that game took a LONG time to release, only to be received with mass criticism and almost every major gaming critic panning it.

A shame too, being that BGE2 is one of those multiplatform titles that is making me want to get another console (PS3). Luckily, there are others that make me keep that interest.

That's it for me today.

It's funny how these game companies can screw up so badly like that.  Well, I wouldn't call it horrible, but I'm pretty certain a lot of gamers were NOT happy.

Still, EA is trying to make things right by giving the first 50 people affected a free copy of Mass Effect Trilogy so long as they provide proof with a photo.  Nice consolation prize....that is, if you're lucky to be one of the first 50 to act on it.

Ubisoft generally has pretty good quality control compared to Gearbox. I think we will be fine.
