the wwe game i played was Smackdown here comes the pain, than i was too occupied with wow for 5 years that i forgot about other games.... now i tried svr 2010 and 2011...sadly i dont see much difference between the two.... i hope they revamp the series
I've said this the past few years but they ABSOLUTELY NEED to take an extra year off and frickin do a complete update of this franchise already. They've had pretty much the same types of mechanics since 04 or 05 (and simply added new stuff each year) and it's too stale to still be hanging around. They need to do a complete work over of this franchise and it'll immediately turn heads again.
the game is really good and really addicting to lol. does anyone know how to get the rock on it for free or like do u get him in road to wrestlmania idk lol so
@spacemonkeyOG: THQ said a fews years back that the reason they don't have longer Wrestlemania ramps is becuase it would mess up the timing on the entrance movies and that they would have to do all of them again just for one ramp, so as realistic as it would be, I doubt it will ever happen
improvements that i would like to see Bigger tittle belts!!!!!!!! Realistic commentary!!!! Realistic crowd. Better sound quality!! Make the WrestleMainia ramp Actual scale! Bring back the old tittle system were you don't have to play wwe universe mode to get a tittle to switch hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Less online lag!
Game was great on my PS2 but just got another X-360 Game on. Anyone know when Nexus unlockables will come out?
I got this game as soon as it came out and it's never gotten old, with the pin options, ladder, and cell finishers it makes it much more interesting
I like SvR 2011, but I think it lacks a lot of polish. I hope they r still going to release a patch.
at the moment i have both black ops and wwe sv 2011 rented..i was very hyped for black ops but 2 days later i got reallly bored and very dissapointed whereas with svr 2011 im playing it RIGHT NOW :D..its really one of the best games i played sadly my rent is over tomorow :(....black ops i want to give it back NOW..im getting only 2 games this coming 4 months so i gotta think staright and carefull,,but without thinking definatley wwe svr 2011 one of them..and the other MIGHT BE KILLZONE 3..:D
people dont hate on me for this...but this game IS A BOMB dont give a for all those who never played the game saying its awful..people usually say that and then get the game for themselves mean retards...anyway i had svr 2010..but this game is AWESOME aloot of changes done really makes me feel like im a wwe superstar i used to say old wrestling games are better such as here comes the pain...but this GREAT AWESOME GAME hushed me up
@ MightyMillers - I have to agree with you, the past few years I have been getting this game for christmas as a easy option for the person buying me it, but would not have bought this one, or one or two of the most recent installments. It is a shame too, there are so many good ideas that are not executed properly, then missed the following year, personally I would say bring out a game every 2 years, BUT to keep people playing the game, and to bring revenue into the company, have roster updates and DLC to keep the roster up to date to add stuff into the game.
I have been playing these games since the beginning, in fact I bought my first playstation just so I could play this one game and always pre-ordered this game everytime sometimes 8 months in advance but after SvsR 2010 I have had enough there has been no great advancements one year they will add something good and the next leave it out replacing it for something that doesnt work. So for the first in 10 years I am not going to buy this game.

I do Agree with the Review..And i do have the game...I like it cause i'm a Fan.....But i Agree with other comments also...To Change the Game Big Time...Maybe another Company taking over...Mayb like EA...Cause EA is the Best When it comes to Sports and Shooters...Well I hope they Change Fasts Cause I Getting Bored... How do you know this reviewer isn't some crazy glue-sniffer. 'Building' model air planes,' he tells us. Well I'm not buying it. next thing you know there's money missing off the shelf and your daughters knocked out. I've seen this a hundred times.
This has me worried that UFC video games will be heading in the same direction of recycled gameplay now that THQ has bought the rights to make UFC video games.
.. I think it's time to rewrite the formula SvR.. I loved the formula.. but come on. Its been 4 years.. and you are still using the same old formula.
the last smackdown vs raw game i played was 08, which was crap...i think i might give this series another chance
Universe mode is easily the best contribution, more refinements to it and you'd have yourself one of the game wrestling games out there.
Some of the problems should go away once they stop making the game for the weaker systems. Once they tone it down to 2 or 3 I'm sure they will fix the much needed and much wanted mechanical problems. Over all the game is one of the best yet. So you got to give THQ some props for that at least.
buy this game guys. read IGNS review. most of you will find igns review better than gamespot
