I would start this out with good, but with this game there was very little good to speak of. The box art was mildly entertaining... I like the cell shading of the cartoon sequences... Out of good... going to bad.
The Bad. Where to start. I like hack and slash but the repetitiveness of the fights, the overall horrible enemies, the inability to effectively fight most of them off. The boss fights meant running around trying to refill and kill the fodder off before trying to target an enemy who cant miss you! Many controller throwing moments abounded.
The weird. I was lucky enough to find this game for about 15 dollars at Target on clearance. Funny thing was that I hated it so much that after the first session of 3 hours I took it out and tossed it to the side. My wife asked if I wanted to trade this one in for anything (as I would never play it again). Gamestop gave me 15.13 for the game in trade in credit! I only lost $0.77 on this nightmare of a game. Do yourselves a favor and just leave this one in the clearance bin!

X-Blades has a lot of greatness to it , but it falls just a little short of that mark.

Sure, X-Blades is a little rough around it's edges, but what game isn't?

Nothing unique but playable until you get bored.

Although it feels like an unfinished game and lacking polish, this game, weirdly, I wouldn't consider the worst ever.
