The single base is a a great idea imo. My second base in UFO never really had time to catch up with my HQ anyway and I used it mostly as radar base. Very excited!

awesome! a blast from the past. can't believe it has been 15 years. played the original x-com a while back, the game was groundbreaking
Anyone else wondering if you can have more then one base?
If you can it will be true to the original, and add to the game strategicly since it might matter where you build them, if you will only have one; bummer=(
Looks awesome! I loved the original X-COM games, and I am jonesing bad for this one. I liked the top down view of the bases in the origina, but the side view shouldn't be too hard for me to get used to...looks awesome!
I really like the base setup for StarCraft 2 this really lets you take it to the next level.
